Worrying about fuel economy is so 2008.

If I had 70K or whatever stupid amount they want for a macked out new crew cab diesel whooo cares if it gets 15 or 17 mpg. Really.

My 96 12 valve Cummins with a fuel plate/kit on it get 16/17 anywhere empty or no less than 13/14 with the 28 foot fifth wheel and boat behind that. Now on the other hand My new body style 07 Duramax will get in the teens but if you put a trailer on it then it drops to 10 to 12 MPG. I think the dodge has tons of power but always seems like I am having to back out of the throttle to keep the EGT's down.

00 7.3 ford witha 6 speed.. DIY intake setup, deleted muffler out this side... and a cheapo superships flash tuner.. I get consistantly 17.5 with mixed in/out of town.. got around 13/14 cruising the interstate with 2 sleds on the deck, bed and cab totally full of crap and 2 place sled/utility trailer loaded down, I had enough crap stuffed in it to squat a 250 pretty damn far... I love it.. and its a LOT cheaper then a freakin new truck.
