I sent my WE shocks to freddy at diamondshocks.com a month ago to be serviced. Now the website is down, his email doesnt work and he doesnt answer his phone or return voicemail. I've heard rumors he's not doing shocks anymore.

Anyone know anything about this??

Sure would like to get ahold of the guy and get my shocks back, if he's not doing them fine but I want my shocks back! any help is appreciated.

thanks

4+ MONTH SHOCK RE-BUILD

In the summer of 2009 I sent my bud's Walker Evans shock (only 1) to Freddy for a simple re-build and a shaft replacement (stock one was severely pitted) based on positive comments and posts I read on H.C.S.

After 4+ months of :

1) The parts are back-ordered

2) I sent it to you, U.P.S. must have lost it (However Freddy never provided a shipping # when requested )

3) The dog ate my homework, etc.

I finally got by bud's shock back.

All I can say is, keep calling, and I wish you luck!

Perhaps someone here on SnoWest is in /near Fargo and can stop by Freddy's house??????

sounds like i should have researched this guy a little more before sending my expensive shocks to him. Who do thunk the guy would do business like this, heard some pretty bad rumors lately. 4 months puts me in january!

The shock rebuilding was a sideline for him, working out of the basement of his parents house.

He works another job and attends college.

that is why I reccomend Fastrax/Union Bay Racing! I got mine with a three day turn around. That was earlier and they are busy now but they do a great job. As far as parts..I needed a new shaft and they had it in no time at all.

Good luckon your parts recovery.
