David Shepherd Tribuite Video

Thanks for putting up the link Toby, brought tears to my eyes. I never knew your dad personally, but I would drive 450 miles every spring to watch him race. My favorite part of the whole program was when the announcer would say, "David Shepherd is on the line", then the silence would hit. Everybody would drop what they were doing and pay attention because they knew they were about to see something special. I still have the Snowest story "A Fallen Hero" stapled to the wall above my workbench. Thanks again for the link, he sure could ride!!

Dave was a very nice guy, I used to deliver tires to Shepards Garage when i was in highschool, And one heck of a rider

Wife and I remember watching this run from the beer garden!

And what do ya know, I am watching this run on youtube along with live stream of hillclimbs from the house, and Toby just left starting gate.

Looks like he has matching wrap on his Axys and his dad's old MOD! Way cool! I have photo of Toby's run today, but my attachment level is exceeded!

Tobys tribute Mod sled is one of the best looking sleds on the snow! Toby is getting to be a great rmsha rider, he will be at the top of the game soon.

Thanks for sharing David's tribute!

Thanks for bumping this back to the top, I enjoyed watching the videos and reading about all the great memories!

That's a great looking sled that Toby is running. I'm sure his Dad enjoys being along for all of his rides!

Toby, had a tough day on the hill yesterday, but the tribute sled was a PERFECT fit.

one of his race sleds was sitting on the show room floor in Helena Cycle center. I haven't been in there in a while, not sure if its there or not. I will swing in and see if I can get some photos of it.

Very sad and tragic news for all of SW Montana when he passed. He is a legend in the snowmobiling community here.

Definitely the best looking sled in the pits this year for sure! I loved the tribute sled and watching those videos choked me up a bit. Only met Dave once in Silver Star but we knew he was something special when he hit the hill.
