Great guys, excellent work.
His clutch kits work, they are not just some throwtogether parts in a box. He tests all his setups in the mountains and has come up with some great packages. Unlike other kits that are just weights and a spring he replaces most of the parts in BOTH clutches to work together with each other so you get a wicked fast upshift, with an awesome backshift under load. With his kit in last years XP none of his customers went through any belts, 3000+ kms on some of them. For instance one thing he has the no others do is a 54 tooth bottom gear for the XP this way you dont have to go as small on the top and risk breaking your chain, or go small there as well and get a huge ratio drop. 19:54 = 2.84 VS 19:47= 2.47 , you could even go 20:54 and be 2.7!
The sled will still do 70 mph but the clutches sure run cool when you are climbing and working it at 40mph!
He does do things a little different, and doesnt have time to deal with people that arent serious about having the best. So if you are serious give him a call and get the goods, you wont be sorry, its big money but you get the best.
70mph top speed on the trail 40mph when loaded in the deep, this is with a 2.5" Challenger. A stock xp will only pull at max 60kmh in the deep on a climb, it might doo 200 on the trail but that is on the trail. Dale sells a mountain setup that doesnt blow belts, and works killer! and yes cool belts when climbing are good...Not bashing, just making sure I understand what you're saying...$700 for a setup that drops from 70mph to 40mph track speed and cool belts when climbing???
Hey guys..
Ive herd that dale at H2O In sicamous BC Canada..is the best around for clutching? Does anybody run his clutch work?? It's around $700 to do both!! Let me know if you run his stuff and if you like it?
