custom mountain twin 174's

My hats off to yah great job! But I'm curious about the limitations of the track, what is keeping the track from jumping off the rail, Are the two tracks joined or siamised together on the split line?

that thing must be a killer ride in the DEEP snow, might be pain to lay over, but hats off man, that is one sick setup..... hats of for inovation.

Hats off to you!
WOW........can't wait for some vid of that thing munching through the pow :beer;

hehe that's pretty neat you are obviously a skilled fabricator and have quite a unique imagination.....not exactly what I would build but pretty cool nonetheless lol!
2 statements I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around though. "It is easy to sidehill"?? and "it weighs 550lbs wet" Is that really true?
I'm guessing the reason you went with 2 10" wide cut down tracks instead of a single 20" wide track was to get taller paddles?

Nice work man...totally innovative, you should post these pics in the most innovative sled of all time thread, lol...Would love to see some vid of it tearing up some hills/pow!!!!!:D:beer;

Haha after dad ran into you again at the show, he told me about this project.. Looks pretty sweet btw!! Good luck with it.

Just curious to how the 800 does trying to spin a 20" wide 174" track? To me that seems a little under powered. I figured there would be a 1000+ tripple wedged in there or a turbo or something with NOS. Mad props to building one of the most inovative sleds I've ever seen though!!

I'll never look at a Tundra the same again!!! Vary innovative...If you see guys dressed in suits, dark sun glasses coming to your door there probably from BRP and want to talk to you!!!!HaHA........

wicked build

If u ride that thing in the deep powder, I would port that track, sweet ride though

I have to say, that is one of the coolest projects I have ever seen. Interesting idea....but it seems like that big track might be too much for the 800. How much does the sled weigh? How does the narrow track handles deep snow/steep climbs?

With the right gearing it is possible. They come with a 20" by 151" (or close to it stock - not as tall as lug though). I'm guessing that it turns it ok, just need to gear it down and clutch it right. Its really made for floatation and not all out speed. Maybe a little underpowered but if it works for him..great!!
