I want to get in to Alexander but can't remember how to get over there from Atlas, it has been a few years since I went in this way. Can anyone help me out.

You would have to ride thru dead mans pass. Unfortunately once you get back to get to the rode that takes you up to alexander you will find that it has been plowed due to logging in the area. A quicker way to get back would be to drive down the #3 till you get past the weigh scales, make a right about a kilometer further. Follow the logging rode till you get to the first yellow bridge, unload there and your just minutes from the alpine.
That is how I usually get in there but wasn't sure if we should go in that way if they are logging, I don't want to get run in the ditch or run over by a logging truck.
Good point, we only ride on weekends and so far on 5 trips this year they have not been working Sat or Sunday.

loobjob, how are the conditions down in the pass now? A few of us are headed that way on Sunday and would like to know where the snow is?

My brother in law drove down to atlas staging area last sat. Said there was about 6 inches on the rode past the staging area. He said it looked quite a bit better than it did 3 weeks ago.
