CR500AF Sasquatch Build

That ski will float in the deep stuff and help keep the front down when on the pipe. Nice job on the build and the ski!

Got on it for the first ride yesterday, loving the CR :). The third shock and mount worked flawlessly. I rode it back to back against a 2016 TSS ST, really didn't notice a different between the two. That new 2.5 convex track is amazing that comes on the 16's, climbs better than my old 2014 LT.

The 155" climbs like a sled; combined with the CR500 power I was shooting straight up every hill there from nearly a standstill. I think long term I will go with a 137" 2.5 convex track. I am that impressed by the new TS track... I haven't rode in deep snow yet so I will see next ride.

The ski was a bit of a let down. With the pieces of angle I bolted on as skags it would slice through the hard pack and make it hard to turn instead of the plastic and carbide staying on top like a production ski. Without the angle pieces on the edges it would wash out. I think if I could figure out a way to get some carbides on the edges it would work well. The good news is with a third shock all the front heavy feeling is gone and ski pressure is greatly reduced. The stock TS ski worked well and it didn't get pushed around. If only TS made a 12.5" wide ski things would be just right.

I converted my '13 ST to the new convex LT so this review has me itching to get out and rip the 500! Come on snow!

You should install a voyager gauge so you can tell track speed. Be real curious what kind it pulls in deep pow climb.
