No one actually knows what percent of thier population and what cultures are actually taking the jab . I started looking around a little deeper , this state was one of the earlier states that had the jab shipped . More than likely because the villages have a very unhealthy culture to be honest , honey buckets and drinking water go hand in hand .
The media claims that over 20% of this state has taken the jab and I just took it for granite that it was the villages . That is not so , what I have found out by talking to some of the elders from multiple villages is that they have not taken the jab .
So that leaves one other option , it's the big city and the Kenai and what party has the most influence ? Dems of course , you go anywhere else and if your stupid enough to think you can enforce your beliefs upon the people you will be ignored or you will be met with great resistance .

The US has always put a lot of faith in to conventional medicine, I would absolutely think the high percentages of vaccination being reported are accurate. It’s not like you’re living in some country that shuns big pharma...more like embraces it.
We live in an area where alternative medicine and naturopathic solutions are VERY prevalent, and even here the vast majority of folks seem to be getting vaccinated. Like I say I was planning on skipping it just cause that’s how me and medicine roll (as in - usually don’t roll together)....but after seeing 2 healthy dudes just like me almost go down (one not totally out of the woods) I’ll take my chances on the other road. I was on the “no big deal I’m healthy” train until I saw it first hand.

If you can ride at 60km/h in -20 and not get frostbite on your nose then you are tougher than most. There are plenty of “balaclavas “ out there that go over the head and also can be pulled up over the mouth and nose. I wonder how a great sledder like you hasn’t seen one by now.
Of course breathing with a cloth mask on isn’t as nice as breathing without one, but you are not going to go hypoxic during a trip to Walmart.

Efficacy aside....I get a kick out of how it’s only perfectly able tough guy middle aged men who have trouble with breathing in masks. My wife works in orthodontics and somehow their office (all girls) have been wearing masks their entire ortho careers with no whining or breathing troubles whatsoever. Strangely enough, they were doing it to prevent transmission of germs even before covid...weird right? But Johnny tough guy tradesman can’t wear his for 6 minutes at the liquor store without gasping for air. Snowflakes I tell ya
