Cordless Teth-Air On My New Ride

I have a dumb question.
How far is the range on the tether?
If there are numorous Teth-Air units in your group will the sled continue to run if you fall off and another rider is close to the sled?
Are there different frequencies so you can run multiple units without interference?

Ok, I have a couple dumb questions.

what if you get tangled up with your sled rolling down a hill with the track spinning 100 mph and it sucks up your leg in the tunnel will your teth-air work?

The radio is supposed to go 1000 ft but we only run upto 300 ft and that is only normally used in long range mode when setting up distance such as if you are walking away while your sled is warming up for example. Currently we have 8 selectable frequencies and 254 scrolling security codes so the machine can recognize your transmitter on start-up. In order to keep the sled running if you fall off, another transmitter on the same frequency would have to be closer than the range you set.

How big is the transmitter on your person? How is it powered? Does it run off a battery or do you tap in to your sleds electrical system? I could really F*&* that up. Alos if you want testing dummies I am available.
