Hey fellow riders, I was looking to get some input on Copper Mnt. riding area. I know it’s a ways out, but we are looking to ride the area around the first week in December and was hoping someone could fill us in on how snow conditions are and where to unload?

Reason we are going is for a company party and the majority will ski will we want to sled. We want to make sure it worth pulling the sleds out.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Early Dec could be Good, Bad or UGLY, best bet is to wait to Nov before you make a decision. Last season it was Ugly in Dec, the season before that, it was off the charts in Dec.
Some good riding behind Copper Mt, off hwy 91 Freemont pass. about 2/3 way down the pass heading towards Leadville, parking on the right side of the Hwy.
If the snows light, & you don't want to tear up the sleds, there is a 15 mile loop around Turquoise Lake in Leadville,25miles away. Safest place to ride early season, as there's pavement below, no Rocks ($) or Stumps ($) !
