Yes, don't get a computer get a " lifestyle", a Mac. That way they can overcharge you for everything as there is only 1 mgr. You will be limited to what software you can run and best of all you'll be shopping for a hybrid and eating granola within 6 months.

No thanks, I'll stick with a computer.

Most of the software I use is open source... download and build the stuff yourself. Windows programs? Yeah, I can run those too. Same machine.

Talk to a few people that actually use them. 10 years ago, what you said had a lot more truth.

I had the same virus last week and what a sob it was to get rid of it.

Eveything that everyone has told you to do will not fix it.

I pm'ed you with my number.

The ONLY way to fix it is to remove your hard drive and install/hook it up to another computer or another computer that has an extra one to clean it.

Do not email Anti Virus 2010 for the fix.



I now use AVG 8.5 and Ad-Aware, All free and it's the latest and greatest for windows.
I have only had one Virus in the last 7 years and that was the Anti virus 2010. There will always be guinea pigs.

I have gotten rid of AntiVirus 2010 several times using the programs listed.

Not only that but he could boot to a Live CD or thumb drive pretty easily and probably get rid of it too.
