here ya go with only a year snd a half under his belt.
During the week of June 7-13, 46 percent of those surveyed told Gallup they approved of the job Obama was doing as president, while 46 percent said they disapproved. In its analysis of the poll results, Gallup points out that equals the lowest weekly approval rating Obama has received since his inauguration.
As for what this thread started form there is allot of noise from a few and i don't think it is called for just my 2 cents.

I think they should have left this in the general section. That way it won't show all the posts unless you are a logged in paid member. It appears that on this site most of the criticism comes from a few.
Secondly. Christopher. There is nothing wrong with stepping up and saying "Guys I screwed up!, Wasn't thinking about the perceived perceptions when I sent out that PM." But when "you" come across as defensive and that you did no wrong you are going to take ALOT of heat.
I don't think everyone was so bent out of shape until you started explaining and defending what you did. And trying to justify it to the members.
If it was me I would have sucked it up. Said "My Bad" and apologized.
Then get down the road, learned from it and continued to do my job.
Maybe you need to solicit a list from members that has a list of websites, teasers etc. You put these into a PM and fire it off, give everyone a chance to get there stuff out there in a similar fashion.
Just a thought.
O' one last thing to keep this on track. If you think Obama sucks now could you imagine what will happen if that guy was ever elected to a second term!! $hit would hit the fan. Every president tries to keep people happy the first four years because they want one more term. Then during the last four years they don't care. (Bush did the same damn thing)
And for the record I didn't vote for Obama.

You are working under the false assumption that it was the wrong thing to do in the first place.
Far from it.
Based on all the feedback from the members, and the office staff, if I had it to do all over again, I WOULD DO IT AGAIN, without any hesitation.
The only thing I might do differently would be to not use his little graphic about the teaser. That was probably over the top. But I thought it looked cool and added really strong visual impact to the PM.

I think there is plenty of ability to judge the overall quality and appeal of your teaser in that pool.
You can rest assured that your teaser will get watched closely by all of the above because of this thread. For better or worse, you have drawn a lot of added attention to it now.

If you give the morons at the bottom some money, they spend it, ALL of it (that's us... buying sleds!). If you give the big guy at the top money, he saves it, investing some. The quickest way to grow an economy & by FAR the most effective is to grow it from the bottom up. That aside... I'm all for a more libertarian ideal set instead of either of these packs of morons in their dysfunctional system that they have created to benefit corporate America, themselves & nothing else.
