Colorado Matt (where are you?)

You guys are too much! Ike, you need to come down and ride with logger. He's to blame for many of my actions! It's tough to catch him though. I think he's gonna give up snowmobiling for shopping!

I love to shop! Maybe we were made for each other:eek:. hitting the Ears tommorow and Vail Wed, The snowies friday and sat!!!!! Finallt gonna ride. Check this out Matt. The EKXP is complete! The blue on the tunnel looks different from the hood in the pic, but it's a perfect match!

Nice! That turned out really good. Maybe you should just park it for the rest of the year so you don't scratch it up....

Ike, please tell me that you are also gonna wear a white leather jumpsuit, open-face helmet, and of course the cape!!!!

Rode with Matt on Sunday......4 of us went up.....only 3 came back!! He said the other guy with us turned around and went home early!! Man I sure wish I had known he was packin a knife! Thinkin the other guy didnt just head home early.......LOL!!!! :D Will be more careful next time! I gotta learn how to pick my friends:D

If he's missing, I would certainly look in Matt's direction. If the dude was on an M series, Matt may have knifed him for parts:eek:

this has got to be the james we met at breakfast on thursday morning the 7th. it was fun breaking trail up to elwood, how did the rest of your day go?? we ran out of gas and had to head out..went back on friday and the guys fixing the groomer were asking about you. take it easy -- JP

Ike, if the knife story is what kept you from making the trip, let me assure you, it was not MY knife!

No worries. You could blindfold me where we are going and I could still get out. I'm gonna have to tell him to leave his gps off once we leave the parking lot though......

Pics For Ike

Ok Ike, here you go. If it makes you feel better, today really sucked. I mean, we had to make our own tracks all day, we got stuck, snow was flying over the hood into our faces, it snowed all day....... ah yes the list could go on for days. Not to mention Wild Bill was up and Jason bought a jack when we got back to the lot. The first pic is a creative line Jason was going to take through the water..... The second is of 'the big nasty' stuck just to be fair. The third is a pic of rest for the beasts. Hope you had fun on your ride....

Looks like a work out Matt!! Jason said "I don't think Matt will ever ride with me again. The first thing I did was drive into the creek right up from the lot"!!!! The snow in Range and the Ears is SET-UP. Good rides, but not great. Good for some jump pics, but my riding buddy was a little early with the "shutter" operation;)

That's a sweet shot. I get tired of seeing pics from the side. Looks like you may have gotten a little squirley on takeoff, good reaction and body position. Those can end up being the funnest flights.....as long as you pull out the landing!

This is the only pic I had time to take yesterday. Yes that's my sled and yes that's a BIG tree. This is a spot through 'the short cut' where the branches have become level with the snow. It's a blind enterance, but a pretty straight shot ahead of where I ended up. I made the first few trees, then POW! I came to a sudden stop. Just a small dent in the lower a-arm. Man these cats are tough! I'm anxious to go back up this summer and see just how high on the tree my mark is.

Ouch! Nothing like a crotch full of gas tank, eh;) My take-off in that last pic was straight; that's my attempt at a "whip":face-icon-small-win. It felt like I was Pastrana, but the pics beg to differ:mad:

Well, missed the gas tank. Always standing and thankful for the handlebar bag full of padding! I like the heck out of that pic and you and Jason need to be in touch before the snow is gone. The king and rest of the crew were looking forward to meeting you and EKXP Saturday. We love riding with non-cat guys......

I'm hoping to sneak down for the next big dumping in a couple of weeks. This week I'm swamped. Would you believe that I have to get in a tractor and go to work? Oh well, not much in the forecast this week anyway.
