Phatty there is no way BYU would own BSU, FRESNO, or even Nevada away from Provo. Hawaii is not as strong after a coaching change but they are still dangerous at home. BYU vs Fresno or BSU either away would be the 2 toughest games on the BYU schedule this year. Washington is not that good and the rest of their schedule is a dream! The top tier of the WAC would dominate BYU's league jist like they do the WAC. It's really too bad there is so much descrepancy from the best to the worst in both leagues. A combo of the two would be the best for all of the teams.

Oregon vs Boise

After watching Oregon a couple times now I think Boise is really in tough. Away from home it's going to have to go perfectly for them to even be in the game. I think they really have no chance. Sad because that's my team! Oregon is so incredibly deep. A starter goes down and there are two more behind them just as talented. That is the difference between pac10 or BSC schools and lower tier schools like BSU BYU FS. A key injury or bad game by a star on a WAC team and it's all over for that day.

Boise should smoke Bowling Green...I watched the replay and they had a horrible game and basically fell apart not impressive at all. You have to wonder now if Pitt was weaker then pre-season poles put them. Of course every game is unique so nothing is fixed in stone...accept USC...wow

Loves the college football...really loves the tail gate atmosphere...a Boise State home game is big time college football finally. FUN

Yeah but you are saying these are fluke wins.. Your saying that any other day those three teams you mentioned would wipe the floor with BYU.. Im sorry but thats not the case... Thats why they are tight games and one by last minute plays.. They must be pretty competitive to have the game that close at the end and not getting blown out.. UCLA was a good team last year and utah has always been competitive and feel they would fare the same in a better conference..

I dont think you are giving credit where credit is due.. BYU has had a pretty good program the last 3 years. National championship caliber, i dont think so.. But good nonetheless

I dont think that BYU would hold the same win streak they had now if they were in PAC 10.. I do think it would be A LOT harder for them.. They wouldnt have as good a record but years like this year i think that they would fare well in the PAC10. not win it but come second or third

Yeah...because the UCLA team they beat was really a top notch example of a competitive PAC 10 team. Look at the losses...Tulsa, Stanford, and with the exception of the past couple of years, some of the other mediocre teams in the MWC. I can't argue with their record the past 2 years. All I'm saying is that when you play the Orem 8th Ward Women's football team you aren't going to face the kind of teams you would get in any other conference. You said it best yourself: if BYU was in another conference, it would be ALOT tougher for them and most likely, they wouldn't finish with anywhere near the record that they've had the past couple of years and wouldn't get nearly the same consideration for bowl games that they do now.

That Fresno state game was pretty cool, It was close I hope they don't drop in the polls...If BSU can beat Oregon I think the BCS will be in real trouble sooner than later.

I was gonna write the same thing in this thread.. Like i said i think BYU could hang in the PAC-10. I think the MWC is gonna be a BCS buster conference for sure. Utah, BYU, TCU, And air force are all lookin sharp..
