Cliff drop?

That's a big drop. How was the landing? Which film is it in?
land level, watch out for old bomb holes.

Duct tape, baling wire, and zip ties was about all that held my sled together last year. I broke a lot.

Okay now I am confused!!!!! Are you saying that the self adhesive silver riv nut strip is not a factory item? I bought a whole roll of it. Never found the Polaris part number on it though. I saw lots of it on sleds here on the forum so I thought it was suppose to be there. Hmmmmm No silver riv nut strip on my sled would make it kind of ugly if ya ask me!!

Personally I have never tapped the break going off a cliff. I have blipped the throttle a little, but each time I have done any cornice jumping I let off the throttle right after I am in the air and it seems to drop the front enough to the level of the hill I just blip the throttle to keep it up far enough. Just start small and you'll get the hang of it.

make sure you get some footage

If you are gonna do it make sure you get some pics or vid. like most everyone said, even throttle. find some jumps you can get used to using the gas and brake to change the sleds trajectory, can be important if you need to adjust your landing!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

No $hit mister wizard:rolleyes: When you gonna drop that cliff back behind the ears? I'll help.....take the pictures:D:beer;

All talk no show!! He will fake some lame excuse like he cant make it up the hill to the top so he can drop it.

Damnit I knew I shoulda left the 121 on. Typically my excuse is the tried and true "I'm skeered". That cliff up there is rather large and the landing not quite so steep. Where am I going to find some more factory sc3 136 Hill-X rails once I drop that? No where lol. First he badgers me into a sofa... now he badgers me into destroying it lol. I was hoping Doody would show up and put on a show. Leave your pants on Doody!

I dropped a small by the pictures in this posts standards last year only 8-10' with a 35-40' total air time scared the chit out of me (not planned) went a little higher than I figured I could and end up on a different down route than planned. something about avalanche debris makes for a crappy landing. Kinda bounces you around like your in a pinball machine. Stayed on it. Must admit it was a rush though.

Nobody gets hurt in the air. Chest protector for sure. Figure out how to control the sled in the air, brake, throttle, same as a bike. But what do I know. I fly with a AARP card.......
