CleElum Renting a Cabin!!

So its my wife's Birthday and we recently had a baby girl. And My wife is Jonesen to get some ridin in so were thinking of Renting a nice cabin up there we can ride in ride out of for everyone. So she wont have to be away from the baby for long. What is the snow like over there? The people with the cabin claim we can ride to and from the cabin. Is there enough snow to make this trip? and is it true you can ride to and fro those cabins?

I would say NO we have friends that have a cabin at Pinelock across from the Lake and when we left on New Years weekend the conditions were not good.

It depends where in Cle Elum you are looking and what current conditions are like. This has been a pretty lousy year for snow on the East slope and down low. Check out www.vrbo.com There are some posted in Cle Elum that you can snowmobile from. There are plenty of other areas with cabins other then Pineloch.

If you are referring to the cabin in the link below it belongs to my friends,
and yes you can ride right to and from the cabin.

You ask is it worth the trip, well how bad do you want to ride? If your looking for a adrenaline filled best ride ever, good luck the snow conditions are pretty poor thru out Washington.

I took these pics of my kids yesterday in the lower meadow near the rental cabin.

As others have previously stated, it all depends on where the cabin is located near Cle Elum.

My place is a few miles east of Cle Elum at around 2000 feet elevation, and we only have a couple inches on the ground.

NY Eve and NY day was great riding out of Pineloch. The conditions just started to go south with the rain on Saturday and Sunday not saying it wasn't doable.

We rented this place.

I guess its in roslyn. And the cabin is like a 1/4 mile from the snowpark that has groomed trails.

We know nothing about riding there. Was hoping to meet up with some local or somthing. And maybe kick down a few bucks for a guide around first thing Saturday morning so I could sho the kids where to ride the rest of the time.

Im primarily just looking for some where my wife can get some ride time in.

PM me the address and I'll get you going. Be happy to show you around, but not sure who I'm riding with Sat. yet.....Been riding bikes in that area since 1970. A cabin at PineLoch and sled since 1984....Have a great weekend...

Nice place, I know the owner, just finished remodeling and adding on to it . Picture doesn't show it but it has two gates out front that are way cool.
You can ride the side of the road all the way into so
e good riding or go back to pineloch sun( about1/2 mile back) and head up to the hills, usually groomed once you get through ps.

Whats up,
Hey, there are a couple of cabins for rent in Easton, and there is a little more snow there, and it is better for the family ride. you can go out to the airport and let the wife and kids go crazy out there. and ride back around the lake and go right down to the shore.

One of them is our cabin in Easton, look at the link in my signature and send me a pm for more info:D

Well its been rainging all night over here in Wenatchee. And it has melted pretty much everything. How is it over in that area! #%&*!! Starting to look like Ill need jet skis and Quads and leave the sleds behind! =(

Raining, what snow is on the ground is pretty solid so still plenty to ride, I would think it's snowing up on the hills. Maybe?!

Rode in the Rain at Stampede yesterday. In places, it's so icy that sleds couldn't take off on level ground. Just sit there and spin on the ice...

Waited for my friends today at Salmon La Sac snow park, pouring rain, they bailed. Home in CE now, it's 43 degrees....Was up over 5K feet yesterday, only rain, no snow...

Hey guys,
Ya, snowbyrd, I was with the group that rented your cabin on new years, had a great time and a great cabin, thanks again.
