That is the exhaust sensor.

I'm on my 2nd replacement in 700 miles. The dealer will warranty it for you but you have to take your sled in (plus pay $50 deductible). New they are $145ish.

Seems to very common with the 2010 update's! I have replaced one on my 09 this season. $150

hmm, good to know. thanks for the info. guess i'll have to replace it. sled was rippin all day with the light flashing. didn't seem to have much of an effect but i'll still replace the dumb thing. thanks again.

Keep an eye on your hood. I've heard of hoods melting because the pipe temp is not controlled and excessive heat builds up.

Must be very common if SLP has a tool for it.

i think that is for the edge sleds that had the premium/regular key settings. plus they were talking about water temp sensor failing. thanks though, i didn't notice any melting plastic.

I'm referring to the exhaust temp sensor on the pipe. You are right about the SLP part.
