Ceramic coat vs Exhaust wrap?

Anyone wrapped their exhaust with header wrap? Want to keep heat in as per ceramic coat, but with riding season here do not want to send y pipe etc. away and have down time? I am going to try it so if no one posts I will let you know.

I personally think the wrap looks like crap, but if your not concerned with asthetics, then try it.

I would go with the ceramic. Try and see if someone will take your pipe / y-pipe on trade, like a core. This will reduce your downtime.

i like my ceramic...header wrap gets all over as it decays...if you use header wrap use the treatment spray..

Ceramic powder coat, had mine down, a LOT thicker than typical ceramic, and has held up awesome!

I have a friend that has a powder coating shop and he does ceramic coating. well if the coating was no good he wouldnt be hair straight back lol
