Center driver problem solved

I don't think you will ratchet without the centre driver.... however I see no reason to remove it .... the previous models the dragons had some issues because there centre driver was wider in diameter.... when the Pro came out it was changed to a much narrower driver.
If you have an issue with snow build up .... it might be that you are runnning your track too loose.

So why do you have to run the anti stab wheels? I have had both a cat 440 snopro and a 08 summit and they both had extroverts and no anti stab wheels. I know that I had put them on a mod sled I once had but if the cat and doo live without them why waste you money?

If you run a 3" pitch track and use extroverts then you should run antistab if you leave your track tension a little looser than factory specs. That is one of the reasons to use extroverts is to allow for looser track and less rolling resistance. Otherwise I dont think they are necessary.

Less resistance.. And when a 50 pound track is turning 40-50mph, how do you guys think this loose/tight issue works out?

I'll admit I was on this bandwagon before, but I no longer plan on riding my sled on the garage floor and strongly believe that a loose track is really just wasting power trying to smash through your tunnel roof!

I've ran the stock drivers for years, if you hear/feel the center drive getting iced up just tip the sled on its side and rev it up. It will clean out in an instant. If you ignore it the ice will build up and it then needs to be chipped out.

IMO running a loose track will make you sled trench. We were up today and a guy was running his track loose, his would trench up the hill (slow) and my sled would jump on top of the snow and fly up the same hill. In soft snow a loose track will shoot straight down from the drivers killing the attack angle of the track which makes the sled trench, get stuck. Like said, it’s just my opinion.
