4 of us heading out March 19-22nd.
A 5th person for 2 of the days.
Don't need much fancy stuff, just a nice place to stay within riding distance to
trails.
Thanks

Stay at the Winter Creek condos www.wintercreekcondos.com , the Gates family is a great group a people and you can ride directly to the trail. Last year when we where there on St. Patrick's day you couldn't ride to the trails from town because of the lack of snow, but the rainbow lodge is just a couple hundred feet extra in elevation that allowed us to do so. It is just about 1/2 mile into the hill from town.

Cheers
Shawn

Riding to the trails you're kind of limited. The folks at Snowy Mountain Lodge will take good care of you or Chris at Mountain Meadows Cabins another good option. Both of these are up on the mountain. Centennial itself is a 6 mile trailer to the top, your options there are the Freindly Store, Old Corral, and the Mountain View Hotel. Also Myra and Brent have Winter Creek Condos in Rainbow Valley. On occasion you can ride up from Centennial, but it's a whole lot better to trailer up.

I echo what the guys above told you. Here are the links to the spots mentioned. Old Corral has excellent food. The sweet thing about mountian meadows and Snowy Mountian Lodge is that they are at the top of the mountian. No trailering. One thing about Mountian Meadows is if this is your first time to the snowies, Chris can give you some pointers as to where to go.

We stayed at Albany last year but they don't have anything left
for the dates we want.
As far as trail riding, is it all part of the same system?
(meaning Centennial & Albany)
Thanks

Its all of the same trail system as Albany lies on the southern portions of the system. Dependant on the wind, if its blowing substantially, Albany is the better drop off whereas milder winds make the Centennial area attractive. This can change day to day.
