CDTS Lander questions

How is it? How long? Any motels to stay overnight and go for 2-3 days? Gas? I would leave from Lander area and go & go... Temps in Jan get below 10? Need a trail permit? State permit? Title?

You'd be better off riding from Union Pass and going toward Togwotee and down into Moran, or the CDT route to Pinedale. The route from Lander can be sketchy and includes borrow ditches along the highway and in places there may be no snow. IMHO it's not a good choice. Yes you need a WY permit.
