Carbon Sled P22 Fix Kit

A dog.. Your on crack. No other sled can compare other then a turbo. let me guess AC owner..
No, Polaris boost owner. Put a P-85 on at 200 miles so I could have decent bottom end. The sled was a dog with a P-22 and is much better with the P-85.

Furthermore, I am not taking crack.

It’s only like .350” bigger in diameter. Makes very minimal different, but done. 3rd gear is a bit of a stretch, unless you have a 100 speed trans. You can buy the Kurt’s Polaris bearing delete if you want.
With all the money wedded to make the P-22 reliable and perform at a good level, one would be much better off with a p-85 .
That .350 is a 21% higher gear on the P-22. Starting in a 21% higher gear is very detrimental to bottom end response.

we do many P22 clutches...we find that the movable sheave bushings are going bad right away, even new ones seem loose...We find some clutches with 400 miles need a total rebuild and the next one with 1200 miles is fine!!! Very random wearing on the P22...most have black belt marks on the sheaves, the sheaves are not clean...I have found a few that the belt goes to the top of the clutch but most are 3/4 from top....just very random even from 2023 to 2025....

Are you referring to Bushing-50x55x25,mu, Part 3515174?

i said screw it also. 22 boost has 1200 miles on it and no sense waiting for the inevitable. i ordered Tony's clutch kit from Bwc in Edmonton and installing the p85.
its awesome that there are still people putting in the time for R&D to help eliminate manufacturer's short comings. this is the part of SW that i enjoy.

I was fighting achieving and holding peak rpm on my 9R last year so I took off the p-85 and installed the p-22 I thought the 22 with carls clutching in it worked fine didn’t solve my issue but performed similarly to the 85 maybe even felt a little more snappy from a stop. On the boost the 22 isn’t even close to performing like a TRS p-85 setup.
Keep in mind this was before the Tri roller so maybe they are better now.

My personal experience with a P85 on my 9R was that the P22 performs much better down low. The p85 took away a lot of the snap the 9R normally has. I had a bone stock 9R with the P22 to compare back to back on the mountain to the P85. The P85 even had aftermarket clutching too. I reverted back to the P22 and prefer it. I haven’t had any issues with my P22 but I also did the carbon sled fix, and clutching. Sled has about 1300 miles on it.

Does anyone know where I can get the p22 fix kit other than carbon sled? Maybe another distributor?
They are very hard to find in stock

Everyone else is sold out, they are in such high demand i doubt carbon even has time to distribute more to them. I watched there website and fb like a hawk and lucky enough bought a fix kit on the second release 12/9

May I ask what clutching you are using? I was able to buy the Carbonsled sheave collar & connector with this latest batch of parts released thankfully.

Hrmmm. I see carbonsled added a complete package of all the items they sell and it shows available to order.
I sure hope they arent going to lock these behind a bundle going forward.
