Carb 800 to EFI testing + Turbo

Couldn't get the link to work. Went directly to your youtube channel and watched.

Sled sounds super crisp. Let's see some more when it's on the snow and give us some details. Can't complain about my carb turbo XP, but always looking.

It does sound super crisp. Well done.

Hey, I have a question....I was always told never to hit the kill switch so fast on a turbo sled...let it wind down (or cool down maybe) and stop spinning before cutting power. Is that correct?

is that a plug an play computer cause in the video that sure looks like the stock plug hooked to it ?

Sounded like my carb turbo Saturday when I went out to start and run it to keep fresh fuel in the lines. Glas to see somebody doing a good conversion though.

Powderlites--

Who want's one??

Wife insists that I take two :) Any more info available? Looks like you would be able to sell a lot of these w/ the price of etec sleds and turboing them. You could have a fuel injected turbo XP for half price. I believe you have a carb turbo that doesn't use powerjets also (reference from Doc Zooms video), details on that would be great also.

Keep us informed, thanks.

how is it fresh fuel in the lines when its the same crap in the tank?

Fuel in the float bowls goes bad first. The main tank is AVGAS, which breaks down much slower than 91 or race fuel, I also have added fuel stabilizer. If you start and run the sled for a few minutes once a week, it keeps the fuel from sitting in the bowls and breaking down, thus keeping all of the jets clean and enamel free.

Now, I suggest you head down to the street corner and hire a $10 hooker to blow you. Cause you are a little grouchy!:boxing:

Yeah sledders get all bent outta shape when we are having fun.
A Picture of sunday June 5

That hooker told me you should get off ur lazy azz and summerize properly. Running it for a few minutes may move fuel from bowl but isnt long enough to dry the condensation out of pipe. Theres $10 worth of advice. lol

It is fogged. And it's stored inside. I just run it to keep my pilots clean. Learned that expensive lesson last Feb.
