Canadian Snow Checks Are Getting Burned!!

I'm not saying its right but...
When you snowchecked you agreed to the terms.
Snowchecks are not advertised as being the best price/deal of the year.
Snowchecks are a way of guaranteeing you will get the sled that you want but as always you can probably find a LE somewhere in the fall.

How much is the warrantee worth to you? Tell em to eat your snowcheck, sacrifice the 5 bills and buy one off the showroom floor... Hell a good dealer would probably make that happen without having to lose your down payment.

There's also another option to really stick it to PI and that is to give your money to a different manufacturer.

Hope your crusades through all the forums pays off for everybody that snowchecked.

P.S. If you think you got screwed now what until they start trying to clear inventory for the 16s. lol

Wouldn't the cost to purchase an equivalent warranty be less than forfeiting your deposit on the snocheck?

you are right,
I agreed to the terms when snowchecked.
I am getting the sled, options and accessories I want/ordered for the price I agreed to.
I am paying considerable more $ than my US neighbours but not getting as good of a deal.
I AM STILL PISSED I AM NOT RECEIVING A THREE YEAR WARRANTY IN CANADA POLARIS

Yup that warranty of 3 years bumper to bumper in Canada would be an expensive add on.Pisses me off as well as I checked a standard 163 RMK as I prefer front cooler.Us canadians always get the shaft, this will be my last snow check.Only reason I got a 15 was my 14 163LE was a total POS a complete lemon. It spent more time at the dealer than riding it,I had to bail on it.Bottom line if you own anything Polaris it needs warranty.I will be bringing this warranty up too my dealer to put pressure on Polaris.I might also be switching to the dark side for my next sled as they come with a better warranty.I would definately keep my 15 for 3 years if I had the full warranty coverage.

There is a lemon in every bunch had a 2013 didnt have any issues other than the recalls
Paid 12700.00 for a 2015 with the clicker shocks and bags and electric start and custom colors with 1+1 warranty..Not sure what a 2015 is worth with the comparable stuff, if you can even get them that way is..My guess is your paying for that extra warranty..
I have no complaints it is what it is

A dealer from Canada posted the following on snow and mud on powwows thread.

So to clear up the confusion, here are the facts....

Snowcheck usually means better warranty period. Not here are some accessories you have to take. If the warranty was the same as the in season sled then no big deal. Are there customers happy that they have less warranty and some bags? I bet they have more than a couple snowcheckers that aren't happy. In season warranty worse than the in season sled are you kidding me. Well to a salesman maybe those look great. I am sure they will sell the in-season sleds cheaper than stated and probably a few extra snowchecks.

Looks to me like you could've had a 3yr warranty and forwent some of them silly accessories you took.

From above.

Sorry, but not offered, it would have been a no brainer to take the warranty. Wouldn't be upset if that was the case. Maybe they are that much better of a dealer.

This is not about what Cycleworks offered, but Polaris. Yes lots of free stuff, no shouldn't have better warranty on an in-season sled. No never had an option to get extra warranty, no Klim jacket either, no 50% off avalanche training from Polaris. Each dealer is different and so be it they seen that the warranty might matter so made it an option. Maybe they should make the next snowcheck

Or maybe you need a new dealer.

Not everyone has an option of multiple dealers and they know that. Sure big market Companies can give away extras, but it still isn't the offer from Polaris. Smaller market dealer can't afford to give things away.

Would you be mad if Polaris came out with a $1,000 rebate next month on new sled purchases? Would you be mad if you bought a new Klim Valdez parka right now...then in December Klim has a 15% off sale?

Point being...you take a chance when buying something new that there could be a better deal on it down the road; and this pertains to anything new you buy.

No one is arguing that Polaris can't change their pricing as time goes on. Prices go down as the season comes to an end.

We all know that and some of us take full advantage of that. I know I have.

The difference here is very simple. People have snow checked a sled and made an early commitment and in the past those people were rewarded with some of the best incentives for doing so.

This time, the season hasn't even started and new buyers are being rewarded with a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty that wasn't offered to Canadian snow checks. If the option were available, many people would have gone that route and in some cases even bucked up more money to do so. They were never given the opportunity. Again, the season still hasn't begun!!

Let's not try and confuse the issue with other products like Klim jackets and other dealer promotions, they're not relevant.:face-icon-small-dis
