Most cans, if not all cans loose HP prove me wrong show me the DYNO sheet!
Hps can weighs 4.4 lbs, 16.7lb weight loss according to them also claiming HP gains in mid and top but have not seen any dyno sheets. Pics of it look great!
I put slp on my 2012 m8 and love it.. i've had the bikerman on my old 2010 and was almost ear piercing...
Here are a few pics of the jaws ceramic installed. Has a nice rumble but not too load.
Wow that is small ! I read DTRs article comparing the 11 and 12 800s. The 12 has .6 lb less back pressure and less hp. They dropped some junk in the can to add back pressure and got the hp back. So... more open for sure isnt good.
I spoke to Scott over the Holiday- and HPS are cutting the brackets and should be out in about 10 days to 2 weeks.....
If you got to see his can at the Utah snow show on the Proclimb M8 Sno Pro- then that is excatly what we are going to get
As always a good product and not released until it has the bug's worked out..
Heard a rumor that the SLP can stinger needs to be trimmed- it is causing a blurp... they are supposed to be sending out notices to get the hacksaw / sawsall out and cut a bit off..... Just what I heard,
I for one cannot confirm.

Yes I was the first one that had to cut off some length of the SLP exit from what SLP told me. All 3 proclimbs SLP has fit differently. Most likely many of the can maufactures end users will have to trim the exit length to get it as close to flush as possible. Since I trimmed mine down, it does not bog anymore. Also doesn't smash on rocks, stumps etc now. Not sure how there can be such big variances between sleds but it seems there is. I had to cut a full inch off mine to get it to the stock exit length.
I'm going to remain wary of the straight pipe style silencers until confirmation of zero power loss and no bogging issues. Did the DTR article you reference also report 175.5Hp out of a 12 Procross 800 with only timing key, fuel controller tweaks, added backpressure, and Boyesen reeds? Buddy has a subscription to DTR and relayed that info which is hella impressive. Talking with a guy at Speedwerx they tried several smaller/straighter proto cans during development on their 12 Cat 800 set-ups and got better performance with larger cans/more baffling to retain back pressure. I'm probably gonna go with a full Speedwerx ypipe, pipe, and can combo to start. Won't be the lightest set-up, but still a (claimed) 17lb loss and 10Hp gain. Hope some of the smaller cans coming out don't prove problematic 'cause a little more weight loss is a beautiful thing, but not at the expense of power or performance.
