CAN Fitment

mbrp confusion here.
will a mbrp can meant for a 07-08 700 cfi rmk/dragon fit onto a 09 800cc dragon.
asking this because i have a 08 700 cfi rmk and looking at picking up a can coming off of a 09 800cc dragon.
it is an mbrp can.
is this possible i asked mbrp and they said no but it is all the same pipe the sc ves, single
is this possible?

Probably not.

They should fit, but the flow rate could be different or the pipe diameter could be too big. I'm thinking it may flow too much and not run quite right. I'm only guessing because the 2010 800 gets the can from the older 700 now.

i bellieve the fit should be proper being that they are the same stock single pipe being used?? but i do agree if flow could be an issue with the 100 cc difference??

i don't think it is. we looked at taking one from a 09 800 and putting it an an 08 700 and it didn't look like it would fit. I know the 09 and 10 800's use a different can for some reason.
