Camoplast Track RIPS in Half while CLIMBING HILL - WATCH THIS VIDEO

I have had it happen 2 times now. 156 camos

My extroverts pick up the track enough to knock off the rail end caps, then it spears. I had it happen on a hill climb last year. Couple things

1. if you are running extros, ALWAYS GET A ANTI STAB WHEEL KIT
2. If you arent running extros, run your track per the mfgr specs for tightness

I ride an 07 summit and yesterday I was trying to piss off my wife :D and parked it REAL stupid on a rock up a tree sort of vertical beside the house. When the kids stopped laughing I hit the ebrake and jumped off and noticed that under that kind of torque my track was WAY too loose looking, like hanging 3 inches off the rails. The front of the rails were also only about an inch from the track, and it definatly got me thinking!

I took out all the wheels this summer except the back two that I run on the inside. No probs with the hifax but I wonder if I should have other worries...

I have stock drivers but I guess they are "extros" right? Is an anti stab kit just rail ends that point up more than stock?

One to remember

This video is one to remember! Only those who have experienced riding the steep and deep would comprehend this event. The video doesn't do justice to the terrain dynamic as this hill has a significant slope to the left and has an extreme vertical angle to the top. This type of riding isn't for the faint of heart nor the beginner snowmobiler. Schiller you are the man and will hold the gold trophy for the best acrobatic technique. See ya on the Mtn for more memories.

no an anti stab kit is a wheel kit that is inside your rails and bolt on where your rail tips bolt on to the rails, if you have a ported track there will be alot of vibration from the wheels dropping in the port holes as the wheels are not real big. At least it was like that on my king cat, my track had 3 1.5" holes in center of track and vibration was terrible till i took kit off.

Nice vid bro! Is it me or does the track look like its starting to pull when you have your skis up the first time? Could just be uneven snow flying out too.
