Has anyone tried the Bully Dog Triple Dog Gas tuner for the Ecoboost? Claiming 43 HP 55 TQ.

Just curious. Love my truck. Plenty of power and great mileage. Always interested in bigger better things if that is the case.

don't know about the gains, but bullydog had there ecoboost in a truck pull here last fall and it took first place in the stock gasser class. it was pretty impressive

Do you know if there were any stock Ecoboost trucks in the competition?

that was the only ecoboost in the pull, the rest were v8 trucks of various makes and ages.

i have tried handheld tuners on gassers in the past and did not notice much if anything, but these were NA v8 gassers. i don't know how well they would help on the boosted trucks, one would think there would be more gains to be had where u could probably increase boost and what not.

I have heard that with BD tuner, air intake and exhaust they are shooting fir 465 HP and 535 TQ. That would be pretty impressive if the drive train would handle it.

one of my buddies has a bullydog on his ecoboost along with an intake and exhaust, and if your not worried about your warranty, i would definatley do it. I "borrowed" it for part of the day one day and wow, i was way impressed with it. It had tons of power and was a blast to drive. It definatly made me consider buying an ecoboost just because of the power and fun factor.

I put a tuner in my 03 chev 6.0 gasser back in the day and I noticed a definate change for the better, especially in the 91 setting. I would think with two turbos, direct injection and good fuel those numbers would be very attainable.

I agree 5 star is very good, my friend has a 5.0l f150 with a boss intake and it rips and gets amazing fuel mileage

Don't waste your time with the BD , go read f150forum, very few if any good reviews.

I have 5 Star and like it the guy who develop the tunes tows heavy A LOT, the only other one worth considering is Livernois

When I had my 05 Chevy with 35"s on it, I was only getting 11.5/12mpg. After I put a Edge tuner, and had a good tune, I was getting about 13.5/14 mpg. That's hand calculated every time. I didn't really notice much in performance, but theres definantly gains to be made with the good tune in a gasser.

I have the Livernois on my ecoboost -- love it -- got the 91 perfoemance and 91 tow -- tows my 4 place enclosed every bit as good as my 6.0 F350 did -- mileage sucks towing though.
