I have followed the convoy's social media quite closely....I think their estimates of people and trucks in attendance are over-ambitious (100k trucks, etc), but the gov. and media calling it "hundreds" is even further out of whack. As usual I'm sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle, and it's pretty easy to see the turnout will be huge, regardless of the exact #. The gov. and media trying to downplay the scope of this, and stoke fears that it's a violent or extremist protest is very blatant...
