this would be a good weekend to come out. Snowtel's are showing 8-12" yesterday with more on the way.

according to buffalo pass snotel there is 20" of fresh and still suppose to snow for a couple more days? how were the conditions before this new snow.

dang.......was hoping to get out again this year but if that was it for new snow probably isnt worth a 12 hour drive.

according to the snotel this morning at the tower on buff pass it says sunday was 75" and now this morning is 104". maybe that is due to it drifting from the wind you said was bad yesterday?

only you can decide what makes a 12 hour drive worth it. You can always watch the snow totals and decide where to stop. Snowies have got upwards of a foot or more, RE is looking pretty good, I am sure the flat tops are doing well. There was a lot of wind, that just means leeward areas may be really good, windward may be a little bare. Most of the area has been quite warm with little to no snow for the last 4-6 weeks. A small storm here and there but 40-50s in between. With that said, I have never regretted a day on the snow. But my drive isn't that long.

My brother in laws rode it today and said it was good. No pics because they said it was a whiteout up top. I had two meetings I could not reschedule otherwise I would have been up there too.

Good northwest flow this week and the northern mountains are getting it. 28" in winter park.
