06 M7 153, Boss seat, float shocks & snow eliminators. Should be a good upgrade from a 97 600 RMK w/ a 136. First M sled I have ever owned, is there anything I need to put on it?? It is bone stock other than what is listed above. Now we just need some snow.

Nice lookin sled, lets see just how much your wife rides it compared to you this year. Creel can probally help you out with setup or must haves. Its suppose to be snowing up in Central according to John, so its going to be here soon.

nice looking sled. imo let her have fun with it it is a great sled then you can see what is wrong with the sled and also her riding style ( for that sled). you may me able to leave it alone. just my 2 cents

I mis-read the title.
I thought it read...."Bought my wife & a new sled"
I thought....wow, that's quite a store!:p

Change the oil in the gear box and ride it! Quite a few had a hesitation in throttle response. Most of it was due to primary clutch belt to sheave problems. Look in the cat forum and you will find a bunch of info on these sleds. She is going to love the sled. Very nice.

Nice looking sled. We have a little over an inch of snow this morning and it is still falling. That should be a pretty good back up sled for you.:D

gotta love it when you can make the ol' lady happy and get a kick @$$ back up sled at the same time!

Nice looking sled. I think she will be happy with that sled. Last year I got my feancie a REV 800 long tracked to a 144 and she had a hard time making that sled work for her. In January I got her an M7 and she can ride that sled better then some of my riding partners. She loves it... Now she wants an M9 kit for it, lol.

Great sled She'll really like it. I bought the same for my wife last year.

First I'd highly suggest getting the knee pads that mount on the sled. The geometry of the tank allows the rider to slide further forward than conventional sleds when going down hills etc.. This causes the rider to contantly bang their knees.

Next mod would be a holz skid relocation kit. This changes the pivot on the skid and eliminates the track tensioning that makes for a rough ride and limited travel of the skid on compression. It allows you run the track a bit looser without the fear of ratcheting.

Then finally a bar riser. Better riding position in the pow as well as additional leverage making the sled nearly effortless to ride.
