Boss seat

I put a new boss seat on this season, and have really liked the height and the ride, but this week my zipper broke, The little tab that you grab just broke of eight flush with the zipper. With the lack of snow this year this was only my fifth ride on the seat. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues, and if anyone had heard if boss will warranty these.

Boss' customer service is hit or miss with more misses than hits. They'll probably fix your zipper but they'll make you ship the seat to them (spendy).
 
Probably cheaper to find a local upholstery shop and have them replace the zipper.
 
Same problem here. Now I haven't sent my seat back to them yet but so far their customer service has been great. (All talk at this point) :)

But give them a call.

They told me I have a couple options.

1. Send them the seat, they will put the same cover back on and send it back with a $100 gift card to Boss.

2. Send it back, they will install the "new" seat cover that has the sealed YKK zippers and move Kevlar in the cover material. They will charge me $50 for the upgraded cover. They will ship it back again with the $100 give card.

They said to ride the seat through this season, to avoid downtime, then send it in this spring and they will take care of it.

I got an email from them last night confirming this agreement.

So at this point, I say they are standing behind it. Good job Boss.

(Now don't make me regret the advertising) :)

Arctic Thunder is right... call them and they WANT to get the issue resolved. Apparently they have made leaps and bounds in their customer service department. $50 for a new kevlar seat coating and zippers is a good deal. I've already broke 2 zippers and some of my stitching is becoming frayed.

Call them and you might be surprised.... I was.
