Boss seat or other option???

Okay, just like the title states.... looking for seat ideas.... Ive got a 97 700 sks that I extended to a 151 2"... a lot of extra add ons, edge rmk skid etc...

What I am wondering is what can I do or what has been done to the seat to make it a high rise seat??? I would like to change to a edge or gen II gas tank and put a boss highrise off a gen II but I cant due to the cooling lines for the rear cooler running under the seat...

Looking for ideas for what to do with the seat, and I know I can raise it up myself but would like to remove weight, not add it.

Let me know what u guys think... or even if someone has a boss seat that was made for these sleds... thanks guys

He he he you could go to wall mart and get a foam cooler . Staple some sweet materil on it and pop it on then you got storage to . No im just kidding i will keep an eye out for a boss indy seat so it can just pop on and go.

I have been trying to come up some sort of solution for that also. I would like to build on that has storage under/behind the seat, or shorten it similar to the new CAT seats. I am 6'5" and need a taller seat to ease the transition from sitting to standing. I mostly stand because I need to be able to maneuver quickly. I have seen some with fabricated aluminum spacer structure, I kinda like the idea but would cover it when I recovered the seat so that it appeared as one piece. i also think I would narrow up the top of the seat some.I need about 3" of extra height at minimum. I would like to do the same for my bride's sled's seat, I just have to come up with a good idea....

I like the foam cooler seat idea Steve!!! I mean what could be better, cold beer, AND I higher seat!!! Best of both worlds!

Im gonna do some thinking and investigating and see if I can come up with something...

Hey if you need a cooler I got one for you, has your name on it and everything, tell you what since I know you I'll cut you a deal, 25 dollars, but you have to dig it out of the deck. hahaha I tell you what I will toss some idea's around in my head and run them by you. I have a few idea's of how to do it, I would have to pull your seat to see what we are working with, but I think I have an idea. just tough to do at no weight or as light as a boss

Yes Grant, I do want my damn cooler back, but Im not paying 25 dollars...

I just took the foam and cover off the original plastic base, gutted the compartment in the back and lined it with 1/2 in foam (it will hold 16 beers now) and built a spacer and a seat. It looks like **** but I love riding it.
