BOSS seat or 2010 cat seat

What do you guys think is or will be the better seat? I bought one of the boss seats that came with the 09 smowchecks and put it on my 07 amd loved it. I reAlly liked the new seat when I demoed the 2010s but is it gonna be like the old stock seats where it gets soAking wet? Trying to decide if I should put my bosss seat on the 2010 when it gets here or just leAve it the way it is.

'10 seat uses the same OLD soaking foam as before. I'd keep your '09 Boss.

i like the boss seat way more. its nice looking but thats about were it ends spend the extra and get the better seat..

Just an FYI on Boss direct production seats for the M series, they now have switched production to a new style altogether with different charecteristics on all areas. They will be visible at the upcoming shows. I think I ordered the last old style seat they were producing. BB

I love my Boss seat they look way better then the AC 2010 seats, but i have never sat on a 2010 seat yet so don't know what they are like but the Boss has my vote for looks.

There was a photo on here a few days ago of the new boss seat. Looks real nice except...it has even more zippers to break on it. Does anyone know if anyone makes a boss type seat that isn't as long as a normal seat? One that would be short like the 2010 seats but still sits a little higher?

i'd buy 2 new ac seats and still have gas money left. i think the ac seat looks waaayyy better than the most expensive seat in the world!!! if you store your sled inside the foam soaking up water is not an issue...

double check pricing on a high rise from first place parts. I just bought a hichrise with a larger storage trunk, for 389.00 plus shipping. all boss seats went down in price this year

Boss has been over priced for years. Now that AC has come out with a stock seat that's light and priced reasonable they have to be competitive. It's about time! I'm thinking of ordering a new AC seat for the wifes ride this year.

Just saw a add for the new Boss High rise seat in a snowmobile mag and the add said the new seat are $399 and you get a free 20' tow strap with it. I'm almost thinking that the seat is worth a $100 more then the 2010 seats.

The new 2010 seats are only about 3 pounds lighter than the old stock M seats... Way heavier than the boss....

i could care less about 3-5 lbs in regard to a seat.....lets compare junk foam to BOSS foam...yes, the stock seat is still junk even if it is higher without your butt on it

Hmm maybe I'll just swap the boss on my 07 and put it on my 2010 and put the 2010 on my 07. Or sell my 2010 seat and buy a new boss seat

I like the look of the stocker, but if it is made out of sponge then that defeats its purpose. Bummer i guess thats going to be the big change for 2011.
