Mountain Mod is the best seat in the business with very good customer service. They are here in Canada too.
I agree that they have better service but they need a designer to get the seat a little "sexier"... a little work to do there in my opinion... not a bad second option

I have a bit of Good News if they Boss pulls through. Take this for what its worth and don't hold me to it please. I just heard from Boss, all of my orders put in during Oct. and before will be shipped out by the end of November. I hope this helps.
Hope you end up better then the rest of us. I dont' know how you dealers want to keep dealing with this dead end company. They are going to screw you more then they are going to come through for you. If I had a supplier like that, I would never order from them again.
Yes, it is a toss up. On one hand I believe in the product and have felt it for myself the difference these seats make. Also, I find the quality and the materials they use to be top notch. On the other hand the lead times and delays suck. Over the last 5 years I have a pretty good percentage of successful sales on the seats. However, I been doing it long enough that I know what to tell the customer for the most part and remain up front with them. This year has been a little more difficult because the unexpected foam machine break down.

I ordered my husband a BOSS seat for his Apex through a dealer for his bday last March and I got it in 2 1/2 weeks.
Maybe you should have your wife order it for you next time.

I am bitter. I know boss makes a great seat. I thought the whole purpose of garunteeing a seat for the fall by putting a deposit down in the spring was that you were supposed to have your seat by august/september at latest. GARUNTEED!! Not to have boss tell you the end of october that your seat is several weeks out and they never garunteed the seat in the first place(after I was asked to put the deposit down)
I applaud you dealers for the effort you make to preorder and sit on seats so that you won't have these problems with boss. I dont' reply to this thread trying to bag on you in any way, and my dealer was awesome and applaud him for trying to do what he could for me. Team2 is who I dealt with, and have ordered several items from and have never had a problem with.
would be nice for boss to open their eyes and see these problems and at least try to rectify them. If a new seat (nytro or dragon) ain't gonna be done at a certain time, be up front and say so. they would have a lot less pissed off people. rant over.

my wife would cut my nads off if she knew what a snowmobile seat cost. glad she dont' know what a turbo is and how much it costs.

Awwww...that's too bad. If my hubby wanted a Turbo he'd get it, no question about that. As long as he's happy then I'm happy, only because I would get to ride it too!
Just had a guy cancel because he does not have a seat on his sled and his was delayed. This seat is available for sale. It is an All Black Highrise with a small boss logo for and EDGE Chassis PEH. This seat will be ready to ship by the beginning of December if any one is interested. It is on the schedule and the cover is probably already made. From what boss is telling me it will be done sooner but I am not going to promise that. So for you Polaris RMK/EDGE riders we will have one soon.

my boss bs stories.
first seat i orderd from TRI J,, off old sw board ,, took my deposit and ran .. never to be heard from again
ended up getting one from mmsports that year
second time. i ordered it early march .. lst word i got is November it will show up .. im pissed .. 9 months ? seriously.. wtf
