Boost-It Monster Bowl Show !!

Looks great. What skid is NM running. Sorry if it has been posted earlier. I am too lazy to search it. Sled sounds BAD *** !!!!!!!!!

Just read all the posts surrounding yours and you'll be able to see I'm not the only one who is offended...

You are whining about your cold hands, cold feet, and foggy goggles and calling ME a princess? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I was just trying to help you out, but I can see that trying to get something to stick in that brain of yours is like trying to nail jello to a tree.

Sorry to bring your thread so far off topic Duke. Neil, you have a pm.

Duke,
read from post 1-32 and tell me i was the one looking from trouble...i was nothing but polite....again i think neil is making the 2 stroke industry going forward exactly like we do.

I think it was when you starting fishing when Duke claimed he felt Neil had baddest sled in NA saying he needs to come ride Jakes with the Vipec, which was again promoting your product.

So far Neils is the baddest pro I have seen in those type of conditions.

Gino, I think the issue is you have a tendancy to rub some the wrong way. Your post regarding Dukes statement about NMs sled being the baddest Pro out there. Why challenge it on this thread?? You know it is going to cause debate that will not lend credence to your cause and product. At the first of the thread you were offering praise and kudos. Then it starts getting defensive and challenging. Just let your product speak for itself.

NM has built a killer Pro. You know he has a TON of time in the R&D on his Boost It system. It WORKS. That is obvious by the videos. He deserves accolades. Kudos to him.

BTW, Gino. I own one of your Vipecs. It will be going on one of my turbo Pros. So you can see I do have somewhat of a vested interest in these posts. My opinion is that you would do yourself and your product a great justice if you would market said product with a little more finesse. You have threads on here in which NM and Duke don't come in and hijack said thread.

Sledstew seems to be a great ambassador for you. Let his sled and tuning do the walk, not just the talk.

No bashing Gino, I feel your product will work great. Just really hate seeing these threads turn into a bash fest.:face-icon-small-win

Great post.

I think it would be in his best interest to let you be the company spokes person from now on. Best to keep him away from the computer I think, he can design it you can sell it.

All kidding aside you nailed it.

boost it

what i see from this thread is you guys come on here telling every one that the boost-it fuel controller is what makes these sleds perform better than any thing else out there and in the end its all the other mods that get it to the top, fueling is only part of the
equasion at the end of the day piggyback controllers will be left behind by the one who want the best performance possible

Ya for sure, it all works together. But the fact that its dialed is the most important part IMO. Without precise fueling, the rest is useless. The Boost-It fuel system is stupid simple, easy to tune and reliable, what more is there to ask for?

I do believe good fuel deliverery through properly sized dual injectors and efficient atomization of fuel/air is worth some HP. I know, I've seen the difference on my own sleds...

That is a good point but Twisted had a PRO there running over 10 lbs boost that didn't get within 100 ft of the top of monster chute. There were a couple Silber kits there but one guy had to head down to the parking lot to see if he could find a Polaris dlr to recalibrate his TPS and the other one was pouring fuel out of the exhaust. Not sure what that was about.
At the end of the day only two Pros were ripping it up and they both had Boost it fuel kits on them.
There were a couple Boondocker kits there but they didnt look like they were prepared to climb anything.
What turbo kit do you have?

I have a silber kit and mine just started dumping fuel out of the exhaust. Took the dobeck box off and no more fuel out of the exhaust. Think my controller failed like that guys.

Looking forward to trying a boost it setup

You will not regret running a Boost It set up. Had one installed on my pro by Neil and the Boys, it pulls harder at 6 lbs boost then my Boondocker race gas set up with intercooler at 10-12 lbs on my Dragon. The Dragon is now in getting a Boost It set up installed. They are very simple to tune, and great customer service.

How much does his system cost?

Pro turbo

I am going to make one post only regarding our product, what it does, and the availability.
I am sick and tired of having to defend myself because people think our stuff doesn't work, or it's not modern enough, or it won't change timing. It works plain and simple as we have shown.
The 2012 Pro that I ride in the video's has 500 miles and has not hit Det once. I run 50/50 pump premium and VP C-12. 100% low lead also works just fine, as that is what Scooter runs in his HM kit with our fueling package.

The fueling package includes A XIC controller with case and mount, injector harness with silicone wire that will plug directly on to any other kit manufacturers injectors, a motorsports based non adjustable fuel regulator, and a module that we call TMAP interceptor which gives the stock ecu the ability to read boost and inject extra fuel with the stock injectors when boost comes on. We believe extra injectors have way to many benefits to ignore, and that is the only way we want to provide proper fueling for sleds.

Before I get asked if the FPR is needed, the answer is Yes, it is absolutely essential for the Pro's for a few different reasons. We have tested and retested every combination and a lower fuel pressure is critical for these sleds.
The TMAP sensor was the last piece of the puzzle in making these sleds run smooth on the bottom end. The problem with extra injectors, is that they can not react fast enough when boost comes on and these sleds will Det when the throttle plates are opened quickly. The huge benefit to extra injectors, is that you still get factory like response on the bottom, and unlimited fuel on the top. Our fueling gives you the ability to dump the throttle and have instant fuel when the throttle is cracked again.

There are some turbo kits out there that use too small of turbo's and the Det issue is sometimes impossible to avoid. This is more obvious at higher elevation where the turbo has to work much harder to provide proper boost levels.
The other issue with Det is not having a intercooler. No intercooler means that more boost is required to make what sledders expect for horsepower gains, which in turn works the turbo harder and increases the charge temps. Higher charge temps will promote detonation.

We will be offering a water to air upgrade package for Silber kits that includes a standalone heat exchanger, pump, and a airbox exchange program. These kits will be available mid summer.

I will not respond to any questions on this forum. Any questions must be sent by email and I will do my best to get back as quickly as possible. We have been experiencing a huge spike in email and website traffic since monday. Send questions to neil@boost-it.ca

The last thing I want to say is that not everyone that wants our product will get it. We are not Wal Mart, and will not treat our product that way. For us keeping quality high and keeping our customers happy is going to be the first priority. If you email me and can't tell me what 02's your sled runs in every throttle position, then you won't get our stuff, and you probably shouldn't even have a turbo sled.
We have learned a lot over the last year about who we should and should not sell to.

Cheers!

Glad to see you and Barry advancing this.

Sweet video...I did look like the Pro was moving at a faster pace over the top....But all three were very impressive....could have done without the bickering:face-icon-small-fro

Neil, I thought this would be a goal for me to achieve, and now I'm disquaified cause I've got no clue about 02's, so i guess I'm doomed to keeping running a stocker as per usual.
