A question for anyone in the know... what is the black thing hanging down off the uphill side of the sled? Don't tell me it is a 174" ice scratcher he forgot to put up before climbing the chute?!

This is the sequence of pics I refered to in my first post from our yet to be named chute in Area 57. I didnt get any shots of Mikes pull but Cpt ron got some pics of me comin up behind him! This is one steep pull with 3 potential lines out the top, Im sure somebody will put a name on it yet this year. It sure deserves one!!!

You cant see in the pics but Mike is actually stuck in the upper right corner of the chute. I pulled into anouther line 20 feet below him to the left. I had to initiate my corner without knowing exactly where it was so I was reluctant to take big speed. Turn out that I judged it perfect and aced the corner. Just wish Id have gone faster now....lol! Now I know for next time!

Cool pics and vids, I bet boost 5 got some good footage after that weekend. After sitting at the bottom of some of these I can say that the videos and pics don't do the steepness justice at ALL.
