Still an ambitious number.Skidoo turbo was 177hp on his dyno, there is a YouTube video on it.
Doo turbo is just a good running N/A at sea level.

Yep.What is the most boost the doo will run? 4-5#? The big difference will be at 10,000
Yup. Considering it is a 165hp sled. At any elevation.Still an ambitious number.

Is that at the end of Turnagain arm, forgot what the area is called? Way to Whittier is at the top off the pic? Cool glacier to the left of you, looks like the railroad tracks through the trees?Yep.
It’s an altitude compensator.
I thought max doo psi was 4.5# above ambient.
Very notable even at 4000’.
A well clutched n/a doo 850 will pull a stock doo turbo up to 2000-2500’ though.
We get into a lot of neck deep at 200’ elevation riding.

Up to 8000’ it is.Yup. Considering it is a 165hp sled. At any elevation.
Yah. I thought 10K?Up to 8000’ it is.
Is Squirrel where you go up that sketchy canyon, have to sidehill around a creek or hole or something, then it opens up into a huge playground? Last time I was there was on a King Cat or ZX sled, maybe it isn't so sketchy on newer ones. Lol.Placer valley.
Avy danger is extreme so we weren’t punching up into squirrel yet.
Yes, that is Squirrel. If there is enough snow, the creek/drainage/hole fills up and you don't have to sidehill around anything. Not to bad going up, but sucks coming back downIs Squirrel where you go up that sketchy canyon, have to sidehill around a creek or hole or something, then it opens up into a huge playground? But did you ever descend the front side of squirrel from little tahoe?Yah, that was a little freaky as I recall. And I know those RR tracks have claimed more than a few sleds. I bought a wrecked F7 from a guy that hit them. Completely rebuilt it, rode it a couple of times in AK, shipped it to Idaho, didn't ride it once, lol.
No idea probably not. I was a racer, didn't do a lot of actual technical mountain stuff until I got here. Had to totally relearn how to ride a sled when I got to tree country. But did you ever descend the front side of squirrel from little tahoe?
Fun drops and mandatory sidehills.
Group of 4 had too much fun dipping down the front and had to run the whole crew out the bottom.
