BMP Pipe for Dragon/RMK 800

So after the stock top end update, the sled makes 142.5 hp at 1k feet? Am I seeing that correctly? That's only 11.5 hp off the marketed 154 hp

I dont buy it either....every dyno reads different for sure...but polaris has always been pretty close on their numbers..and slp has all sorts of stock/mod dyno charts showing what polaris claims..

Another hype up thread from BMP, snow is falling somewhere and IT gets deeper. I'll stick with the proven stuff thank you.

reed valves ive been told arent worth for these new CFI sleds?
and what does this stage 2 clutch kit consist of? helix, PRM,SCD springs, weights??

Sand, Glass Chips, & Vaseline

Had a friend take of his SLP pipe of an CFI8 to put on the
magic BMP pipe with xxx hp.
Result:SLP pipe put back on.
We have snow!4"

i have a few mags were SLP claims polaris on the dyno stock does 154
and 6HP gain with there pipe
bs isnt polaris around 146-148 hp stock
so where is SLP pulling these numbers out of there ***

Hype? Listen guys I post the result we get off our dyno. I'm sorry if the stock numbers aren't where you want them but yes every dyno differs, and it was a little warmer than what most will run these sleds at. Even so we don't see these sleds reaching even close that 154hp mark... at least on our dyno. Really the stock numbers don't mean anything, we just want to show you what our gains are. I'm not here to feed you crap, and would refuse to do so.

i know all dynos are different to but where does SLP get THEIR magic numbers???
where does mike get his magic numbers ???
who else makes a single pipe for a 800 cfi right now??
dynotech claims decent numbers for BMPs products and SLPs where does he get his magic numbers???
i dont know who to trust for dyno numbers anymore
and kraven ive seen you on other forums and you get bashed just as bad as mike at BMP
IMO about this pipe BS that mine is staying stock until my sled gets turboed

Last year was odd. Some sleds just ran wild with our pipe, others not so much. We would get a pipe back that didn't work for a customer, throw it on a sled here and it would run awesome.

i agree, and this kraven guy always seem to cut you down on every forum
must have nothin better to do,do you own a dyno?? WHY DONT YOU BUILD A PIPE THAT WORKS BETTER THAN MIKES :face-icon-small-hap

he may know his stuff but so does everyone think they know EVERYTHING
every single sled dealer or performance shop will have different results to the expectations they want. you should see what our shops think about the shops down below, think half of them are retarded

i know cars and sleds in and out, i dont have a dyno to do my own testing or i would i dont have 4 gs to go out and buy one tho

I didn't mean to offend your stock dyno report, it was geared more towards Polaris and their stock ratings. If your setup works well on the hill, you will sell a lot of kits. 20hp increase sounds great though!

If you get a chance this winter, run a stock 800CFI against a BPM 800CFI uphill and take a video of it. Some peeps, like myself, likes to see visual representations of increased power vs numbers on the computer screen.

Some guys are gonna ***** about the performance of a aftermarket pipe when they are putting them on with little change. Again lets face it , the pipe is just one factor in the performance of the sled. If it don't get through the clutches you maybe just going backwards performance wise.
Mike, is this still virtually the same pipe you have been testing with dynotech for the last couple seasons or has there been a change made to it. Even on dynotech the power made with all the pipes is all over the place between different sessions and are these all corrected hp results???
I see even Dynoports pipe made 156 on a stock 09 setup.
How many guys have tried the pipes last year............ no feedback???

Good post

This is the same pipe. We tried changing some lengths and things around and found no changed to make a positive difference.

No problems, you could take it either way and others took it in the wrong way.

Good idea. I hope to get a lot more video of us running sleds this year, after all its what you guys want to see. There is always stipulation of rider weight, skill ect....
