Riding out of Cloverland... road is plowed as well as the park. Trails are groomed. Six feet at the Misery marker.

E X C E L L E N T DAY!!!! Blue sky sunshine, good base and a few inches of loose... Two granddaughters (different ones from last weekend) and grandma... GREAT DAY!!!:face-icon-small-coo

Ride Report 3/17/18

Rode out of Cloverland with CB8... other than the road being muddy easy drive to the parking lot... very little snow in the parking lot. Trails are groomed and there was a little loose snow to help with slide lubrication... getting up above 6,000 feet of elevation and there was 4-6 inches of new on a firm base. Just shy of 6 feet of snow... weather snowing hard but Go anywhere snow... (well almost:face-icon-small-sho)... anyway a great day and much better than sitting somewhere, drinking green beer and watching basketball :bowl:

Went up Sunday afternoon and was surprised to find two feet of new snow up top. There were Cats up there but no sign of CB.8 since he got a Polaris.

Friday there was 8 feet at the top of the 700 trail and easy to get there on a trail sled. Sunday it was close to being covered up at the 10 foot mark and the mountain sled was pushing a lot of snow at the snow marker. Most definitely the 3 inch track was working better than the 2.6.

Ride Report 4/15/18

Parked at Alder campground and unloaded the Honda ATV... trying to get to Clearwater LO for the Misery BBQ... very rutted crappy mushy snow...got around a lot of struck vehicles and then got stuck (thanks for the guys that pushed me out).. lowered the air pressure and tried again getting about another mile until getting high centered. Rescued again (this time with a winch), decreased the air pressure again... turned around and headed home about two miles from my goal.

Lots of people made it and like me a lot of people did not... hope everyone had a great day!!!

Special note to the guy or guys driving some type of 4 wheel drive that thought it was a great idea to drive off road and tear stuff up... crap like that will get the area closed... not cool. :face-icon-small-sad
