Robin is there Often !

Robin gets out of Bed and jumps on His Sled and hits Alpine in a matter minutes !

He puts on about 3000 to 4000 " Miles " a Season !

Thats the Luxery of living in Blue River.

Robin Pioneered most of the Back Country around here.

Beleive it or not....Yess I have been told that We have " INSANE " Powder !

Insane powder!! our crew likes Finn creek, we will have to check out the Kooleys this year. Patty do you know if you can get to the Monashee?? cabin near Finn creek on a sled or is that area forbidden!!! We were planing on checking it out when we get up there.

Thanks,Scott

The Monashee Cabin belongs to the Alpine Recreation Club.

The College also uses it for Back Country Wilderness Course.

We MUST Stay Clear of there or We risk Losing that Whole Area.....

I will ask You to please not go to the Monashee Cabin....

There is a lookout Cabin up Finn Creek You should checkout !

There is another Cabin that Robin knows about .....Stop by and We will draw You a Map !

It is a Sledder Friendly Cabin !

Patty we will be staying at the Holy smoke from Dec8-Dec11 so we will get the info from you then.
Excellent Trenchmaster !!

We look forward to seeing You then !

We have received about 3 Inches from that snowfall today.

It is Snowing again right now ! Temp. still sitting on 0 C

Wellllll it is still Snowing Heavy ....

We have received about 4-6 Inches of VERY WET & HEAVY Snow today

It is still Snowing Moderate to Heavy

Temp. + 1 C

I can hear it dripping out there.

Its about time that ULAR showed up !!

So are any areas ridable yet? Rep for the updates!!
Areas ridable .....NO.

Road Riding.....Maybe soon

I will know better tomorrow I want to see what the Weather is doing

" Rumor " has it that the frezzing Level is going up to 6000 Feet again !

Yikes !....

This Pineapple Express System packs ALOT of moisture and " warm " Temps.

The AWESOME Snow that We are receiving right now " could " be gone tomorrow

BUT....I hope that it is ONLY a Rumor !

DAmn we tried riding today. but the snow is wet and heavy and melting. Needs to get colder. This damn global warming is pissing us off. Patience guys when it turns cold in the next few days we will ready for the year.

Hey just joined the site, didn't realise the forums so huge.. I just moved to Avola, 40KM's down the highway from blue river and lookin at doin some rippin up there this winter. I was up finn creek road yesterday and the snows gettin there! I'm lookin to pickup a sled soon, just workin my *** off but I'll have to give you guys a shout to ride sometime this winter forsure! Also if anyone's tryin to get rid of a newer cat or do up there I'm lookin to pick one up..

Rode Allan Creek on 14th, 15th, and 16th.... 14th was very skimply, but MAGICALLY that night, it snowed 2+ feet up top and 8 inches in the parking lot when it was dry the day before. Enough snow to sled now, just keep your head up for rocks.

It was snowing Sunday when we left, so it'll be excellent this weekend.,

worth the trip?

thinking of making a trip up from the lower mainland....come this weekend? or wait till next? prolly ride allan creek...i guess revy is the other option...what you guys think?
