By the Time his Buddies got there and Dug Him out ...it was to late ...He was ...gone..

Holy Grail , Pucker to Paradise ( also known as Harley Heaven ) , Big Blue

The Sledder that was in the Avalanche happened in Paradise ( aka...Harley Heaven )

Blue River Today is enjoying Crystal Clear Sky's with a Temp. od -4

The Guy's Sledding here this Weekend said some of the Trails are Pretty rough...

Some Wind Blowen Hard Pack areas.

But !......also they were in WAIST DEEP POWDER !! Yahoooooo !! YES WE STILL HAVE POWDER !!

Sooooooo with that being said .....Sledding Season is NOT OVER YET !!

You can still leave from the Valley Bottom .

However with the Temp.'s warming up this coming Week from +2 to +8

You really have to make sure that You Drive far enough up the Road to unload , as it can Melt up to 1 to 1 1/2 Miles on a Sunny Day !!

We had about 8" in that Freak Snow Storm in Town.

Ok....Hot off the Mountain!

YES !! The Guy's said ....There is POWDER out here in Blue River !!

Hey the Snowbanks in Town are still HIGH !!

We had People that left that Snow Storm in Calgary and Drove across the Icefield Hi-Way to come Play in this Champagne POWDER !!

We also had Sledders here from the Shuswap and ....well....The Grin's they have on thier faces say's it ALL !!

Hey don't get Me wrong ....We have " some "... rough Trails and... " some " Hardpack ..but !...

They were Sledding in about 1 Foot of Powder and Deeper in places !

It is still Clear outside ...WOW That FULL MOON Is Spectacular !

The Stars are Shining Bright and it is -8

I just checked the Weather Network and they say maybe 5 cms tomorrow..and Some Snow again for Thursday.

Still Winter here !!
