Prayers with him & those around him.

Let this be a reminder that a tradgedy like this is only 1 bad decision away from any of us!

Tuff deal
Nerves grow back at what, 1/16th inch a year
uphill battle for a while

more so a life changing deal( since i play hard i refuse to see this stuff as tradgedy) is only one whisp of wind(again not bad decision, maybe just bad luck or a small bobble, ie Jimmy Button) from happening.

Course you can fall missing a step and become a quad.

Either way, tough deal for a great racer and his family. Hope that they were able to get early treatment and good steriods too him. Waste down, at least he can still hold his wife and kids.

the older i get the wiser i'am getting. this kind of stuff helps me think before i do somthing stupid. prayer sent

Wow, that is shocking news. Hope he makes a full recovery.

umm, you don't recover from a severed spinal cord. at least not right now. sometimes not from a stretched or compressed one either (have two friends with compressed spinal cords that, unless something drastic changes in the world, will never walk again)

Thanks, doctor  I was just hoping for the best...

fortunate

Not to make his recovery a simple issue but he's very fortunate that it's below the waist. Maybe in the future he can still go for a snowmobile ride and like x-rated said...he can pick his kids up. Lets all remember that this happened to one of the best when we ride this year.

Thanks for the awesome display of talent and courage on a snowmachine Blair...all my prayers.

best of luck to a as good as possible recovery, its terrible to hear about incidents like this.

Sorry X but I don't agree with you, accidents like these are normally bad decisions...this is coming from someone who has broke there back, has nerve damage and has gone through 3 surgeries.

It's easy to say I play hard therefore I take a chances and could get hurt anytime...until you wake up and live with it everyday you need to think twice. I'm lucky I still have full function of everything but it could have been way different.
