biulding IQ Race sled for pow riding

Vertical, I really don't think you will have a problem with a 151. If you want to go longer, give Mike a call.

I did mine with a 156 track with a new RMK 155 rear skid. Worked out great thats for sure. Handled rell well in the pow. I then put a zbroz 43 inch RMK fron end on it and used the factory walker shocks. Put the Dragon skiis on it for some floatation. To me the this is the biggest thing to make it powder savy. Had some SLP strait lines and it handled great just not in the pow. The Dragon skiis are very close to the powder pros and worked awesome. Mine ahd a tripple in it so it was a little more front end heavy then what your doing.

rmk boy, what about using the factory rmk dragon front end? Does anybody know what the d front end width works out to on an iqr? is it the same finished? (39") I realize you would lose some susp travel this way, is it a worthwhile mod?

I have a 9 gal Wicked Racing Fuel tank on my sled.

My IQR weighs 517 pounds fully loaded with fuel ready to ride. My buddies XP is at 529 :D

You're not too far away from me, I'd like to hook up and go ride this winter and see one of these sleds in action before I start sinking the money into it.

Let me know when your in my area and i will show you around.

BTW, i forgot i posted this. By now i got my sled almost done. All i need is a new airbox, tunnel extension ( for now, later i am going to get a power addiction), and i need to order my rails. After all that i need to roll the chainecase and finish up my No2 system.

Every time i get money saved up for my Ice age rails i end up having to buy something else. This week it was new tires for my truck :( So i have been running around on a 800 short track and i ahve been haveing a blast. Last night i made new limiter straps so i can drop the front of the track down a bit more. I will let you guys know how that works tomorrow night.

Anyways, there is a link to my build in my signature.
