Not only will we lose riding areas, but the extra money that we have all worked so hard to earn to have the toys we enjoy will be lost due to the extra income taxes that most family who have decent jobs will be affected by. Any family that earns near 250,000 annual will be paying 39% income taxes any one adding that up equals 97,500. All i know is we don't need a president that is just a good debator, we need someone that can get somethign done in the office, and obama is not that man.

Its not just a family earning 250,000....its small business that have reciepts over 250,000.....it doesnt take much for a business to make that in reciepts with assets, inventory, materials, labor.....ect.
How are these small business going to make it??? They cant afford those kind of taxes.....most are barely getting by as it is. So what happens...they go under OR they lay off people.....it only take 5 peeps earning 50000.00 a year and your at 250000....and thats not profits, materials...ect. And do you really think bigs Corps are going to take the hit??? NO they pass those costs to us...product will go up in price. That also includes the products that the small business have to buy to operate.....so now not only do the small business get taxed more they are having to pay more for their materials, products....if the big companies are not selling enough product you know that means???they LAY OFF people too. THere goes the average working mans job. IT REALLY DOES WORK THIS WAY!!!!.... AND is goverment going to REQUIRE these small business to carry medical???? Once again HOW are they going to pay for that???? Trickle down economics works both ways....either to build an economy or to destroy it......YOU know my rights to use public land is IMPORTANT but if I cant afford to buy the gas to drive there and fill up my sled then whats it matter if its closed???

And this whole 95% of americans getting a tax break? 40% do not pay taxes so their "tax break" is a check to them paid for by...? YEah you guessed it...all those small business out there, those making over 250000, Corp who arent really paying those taxes, but YOU ARE because the cost of EVERYTHING will go up!!! This tax "plan" is going to affect everyone on this forum....and it wont be for the good.

Now the problem is even with a GOOD economic plan #1 should be goverment spending cuts....and I dont see that happening....I havent seen a single REP or DEM offer up part of thier salary to help out. OH no still living the good life them.....I know bout a guy in the area that "leased" part of his land to the game dept for wildlife habitat( next to highway) He's getting several thousands dollars a year for that Lease from the goverment...really? OUR tax dollars at work there.....

You republicans sound so angry and bitter.. Probably because you are gonna LOOOOOSE this election, not only the presidential, but the congress and senate are going blue too!

Congrats on your 10th post. Did you just join to express vial?

I think you need to look at history, and the last time we had a Democrat Legislative and Executive. You should have been there. The jokes that were flying around then. Funny thing, the very next election swung wildly the other way. Leading to a take over of the other party. We may loose the election, but history shows that they will cause the pendulum to swing abruptly the opposite direction.

I'm not counting 2008 out, but I can already tell you what things will look like in 2010, if your prediction comes true. Cheers.

I am amazed that, at least the type of liberals who post on these threads, are not in possesion of any real knowledge based in fact or logic. I can't really believe that all liberals are actually retarded just because they believe in ideas that I think are retarded. Why don't you guys do yourselves a favor and try to understand the facts of the issues that you bring up before you waste your time typing?

On the other hand, just keep it up.

Jeb

:D Fatrunt I couldn't help myself I got caught up in the moment!!!! And to correct one lone little point I do not hate president Bush on a personal level I simply strongly disagree with the direction he has taken us over the last 8 years. Adrenaline I agree we should show respect for the office of president and you are right in referencing him as President Bush. As for Gore in 2000 no I did not like him them and I did vote for President Bush in 2000. Don't tell Fatrunt. In 2004 I voted for Kerry, didn't like the direction President Bush was taking us back then. I'm not sure if you caught my last statement in my last post, " Look I'm not thrilled with the choices we have this year but for me at least there is no way I can tolerate another 4 years of the same general policies and leadership qualities as the last eight it is as simple as that for me. " Basically I'm choosing the best of two bad choices from my point of view. Wade I respect your point of view an if you noticed with respect to the financial mess I did say it was a "bipartison" screwup, both parties period. As for going into Afganistan, NO it was not a mistake but it was almost forgotten about as quickly as we went in. Iraq became center stage and one could now argue whether it was the right thing to do at the right time. I'm gald Saddam is gone but at what cost to American blood and treasure. As for congress controlling the President, 6 of the 8 years in President Bush's administration was ran by a Republican control congress in BOTH houses. The last two years the dems did have majorities but not enough to stop irresponsible decision making from the President. It takes 60 votes to overide vetos in the senate and the majority in the house was small enough that it only took a handfull of votes from dems to vote with the repubs to stop any meaniful change. Wade as I stated eariler I did NOT vote for Gore in 2000 (again fatrunt don't tell the guys at coffee) and I most certainally do not want more areas locked out for any sort of recreation but that is only a part of my life and from my point of view I have to take everthing into account and make the best choice for the direction I would like to see the country go. I've seen my 401k shrink by 40% gas prices reach five dollars a gal our status around the world dimished capitalism take a serious hit due to the nationalization of banks and other financial instutions and a debt so big that most peoples kids, kids won"t see them paid down. I do not want to continue down that path and I'm afraid McCain will continue down the same general path as President Bush.

The $250,000 tax cut off line is a joke.

Obama will propose this change, it will be written up as a bill in the Senate and House, both run by Dems. Then it will go to subcommittee and for general vote, in both houses. This is a iterative process, that will result in a Senate and House version of the bill being voted on. And then going to committee to hammer out the differences.

Now, do any of you actually believe that Pelosi will consider families making $150,000 a year, not rich? By the time Obama signs the bill, this tax increase will extend all the way down to families making $100,000 or more. Mark my words, Obama can only propose, he can't pass Federal Government financial changes without the input of congress, and we know they will only reduce taxes on people making less than $40,000 a year. Obama won't care, he'll sign it.

That's when I'm going to remind some people who really ate crow.

Cool. At least you have logical reasons for you choices. This I can respect.

Well said.....Remember Pelosi is out "to save the world" she'll do WHATEVER it takes in her OPINION to do that.

I Agree

I don't watch FOX news and I don't work there either so I have never called Obama a terrorist so don't start throwing name calling into this either.
You don't know that I am a hypocrite at all you just A$$ U ME.
That is usually the comeback for a liberal though so...Whatever, call the names if it helps you feel better. I have big shoulders, I can take it.

By the way. I don't think I remember the liberals calling president Bush anything other than "BUSH" with such vitriol and hatred.
Never even "Mr. Bush" .

He is the president. Show some respect for the position if not the man.
Wait...I guess if you have the right to burn my flag then you also have the right to disrespect the presidency too.

Also......Chill for F**k sake dude.

I Agree with Adrenaline Revolution...... I mean I do not like or agree with Obama....But if he was to win this election I would repect him as our leader and as another man......I mean come on even if McCain wins he is not GOD (perfect) he will make mistakes...If you listen to FOX and or MSNBC its just name calling he said she said pissing contest.....

its pretty sick that someone is blatantly buying votes and it may just work, as per obama giving tax breacks to 95% of americans when 40% of them dont pay any federal tax. hence cash for votes.. you wanna see small bizz dissapear and this become a wellfare country vote for obama..

Glad I could rile you rup. And the names about Clinton are any better? And to Khaddon, yes I have heard Hannity call him a terrorist. And Palin says he is palling around with terrorists. For the record, that is called fear tactics. Was Ayers every convicted of anything? NO Was anyone killed with his acts? NO Is he a good productive member of our society now? YES.

End of story.

Guess the 2000 Presidential election doesn't count then since it took 3 Florida recounts and a supreme court decision to give the election to Bush, boy in hindsite what a great move, largest deficit in the nations history, two wars going on; one that was run the wrong way for 5yrs while forgetting we even had a 2nd one going on that was the home of our terrist attack on 911. Our ability to have infuence in the world vastly deminished by the pi$$ on the world mentality and the broke back mountain cowboy go it alone (in this case your domestic partner VP) vision. Oh lets not forget about the fed chief and treasury sec forgetting about wallstreet regulation on the morgauge mess (this part was a bipartison) F...up spanning two admins and 2 presidents and finally the evaporation of a true capitalism economy with several big bailouts and nationalized private business and banks sector. All of this while ignoring immigration, security, and future energy needs. Hmm sign me up for another 4 more years with a president that uses a dribble cup and a (Hotty) VP that doen't know the constutional defination of what her job would be. Well boys and girls let her rip oh and sorry for the few misspelled words.:D

easy spouting off regarding the constitution... your boy nobama is going to usrup any an all of the constituion if he gets elected. in fact he just MIGHT being doing as we speak. hows that kool-aid?

Yeah, logic like, "a person making $250,000 is going to pay 39% tax and cost $97,000 a year." Or "This is going to kill small business!"

People need to look at what Obama is proposing. The $250,000 is compensation OVER that amount and he is going to increase the social security tax on amounts over that to 2 or 3 percent OVER that amount. Then, for people with TAXABLE INCOME over $349,700 he is proposing to put back in place Clinton's tax rate of 39.6% instead of 35%. And that is only on the TAXABLE INCOME OVER that amount. I personally know a person with compensation over $1,000,000 that is not in that tax bracket. It is called tax loopholes for the rich.

Now, for the small business part. Roughly 400,000 small business owners have over $250,000 a year in compensation and far less than that have taxable income over $349,700. There are roughly 30 million tax returns with small businesses in the nation. So, how will that kill small business? Now keep in mind, the majority of the businesses that make that amount are professional service or medical businesses. In most businesses, they hire or buy equipment/inventory not on their tax structure, but on the expected return they get from that employee or equipment/inventory. In my firm, if they hire a staff at $41,000, after medical and other benefits and adding in some for admin and such, the cost is $60,000. They bring in roughly $150,000 off that employee, so the net income is $90,000 for that transaction. Do you think they won't hire that employee because they have to pay an additional $4,500 in taxes to make $90,000.

How is that for logic and facts? Sorry, I am just one dumb liberal.

I can't speak to the particulars of the Washington recount since I am not from that state and didn't watch or read much about the details of it. The Florida count was a Freaking mess no matter how you look at it. In reality we will never know who won, hanging chads, absentee ballets not being counted on and on the bottom line is we got the president we got and we have since had to live with the results of that leadership for the last 8 years. Great american patroits such as Gen Colin Powell do not feel confortable with this Rep ticket, did anyone happen to listen to his 6mins of reasoning on Meet the Press? Is he a "liberal traitor" as some on here have pointed out if you disagree with their point of view? I do not think so. Look I'm not thrilled with the choices we have this year but for me at least there is no way I can tolerate another 4 years of the same general policies and leadership qualities as the last eight it is as simple as that for me.

change it is you want then with nobama change it is you will get. just remember his ideology, in times past, would be considered extremely dangerous and an enemy. ask cambodia, russia, and germany just to name a few how that same mantra"change" worked out. i agree with you on mccain...i totally do not care for the guy. one BIG caveat though, i do not think he is nearly as dangerous as his counterpart. therefore im voting for him becasue it is in the best interest of the country.... considering the alternative.

Did anyone else hear the "Reporter on the street" in New York interviewing people who were just leaving after an Obama rally?

He asked them if they had any resrevations about voting for Obama even though Palin was his running mate...

"No, I think she be doin a good job"

He asked them if they had any problem voting for Obama even though he was against abortion and stem cell research ( Clearly things that McCain has issues with)

"No, UHHHhhh I be against them things too".

He asked MANY questions that were ALL McCain's stands on issues and they all agreed with them!!!
They just thought they were Obama's words

He then turned it around using Obama's stand on the issues and put McCain's name to them and they were WAYYY against it all.

It was depressingly hilarious:rolleyes:

Ignorant SHEEP.

Those are our future folks. They're not voting on the issues. They're voting for Obama...Period.

I saw that, what a bunch of retards! People are so ***ging stupid!
