No, but the rumor goes that there have been several avalanches in the northwest. I keep hearing that the snow is so much better further south, here around Ranger Creek and Snowshoe. With the warm weather the snow has settled a bit, but there's still so much of it, that you'll sure have a lot of fun! Haven't heard of any avalanches here!

No but was riding in the Burnt mountain area and had 3 avalanches where we were riding so be careful when in that area.

Also curious how the snow depth compares to last year at this time. Looking to get another trip in and would love to get back out to the northern bighorns.

There's no way you can compare it to last year. If you had a good time a year ago this time of year, you won't believe what we have now!!!! The amount of snow right now compares to the end of winter last year, there's a lot! This last week it was warm and the powder settled, but there is still lots of it and we had a few inches on top of it overnight. Looks like more's coming. I'll post a new pic on our snowcam today as well. Check that out in a little bit!

Has anyone rode or heard how Red Grade trail is? We are thinking about heading up for the day and thought we would unload at the bottom and ride up from there if the trail is not to bad?

Any info would be great.
