Its maybe in the wrong section, but has anyone experience with Terra Alps bb? If i am going for bb sometime this year, terra or rktek?

the RK kit seams to be test and proven . Kelsy has been around for years , I can no recall any real negative post on the internet. With every product sold there will be some failer but if its owner caused that in my opinion is just bad luck.

True.. But if i am not way off, terra has been in the game for a while to? Haven`t heard to much bad stuff about Terra either.

Carl's Cycle

I would have been running a carls kit if they offered it for sealevel, is about 5500usd if im not wrong.

Racegas is 40usd per gallon over here.:face-icon-small-blu

I have an indydan longrod going in this week, I guess a rktek 858 would top that bottom end off pretty good!?

But, I am prepared to build my own maps for it anyway....guess I could have done that with a carls setup.

I have been leaning towards Carl`s lately, its expensive i know.. Its either going to be Carls or Bd turbo, time will show :)

Both are good options I'm a fan of hm there simple light no oil tank and they do spool nice but so did my cat with an ovs tial externally waste gated m8

How is the mapping on these Hm kits at sealevel?

Once install was completed, just call Levi @ HM and got online and it was done in a matter of a minute or two. Price wise, 8 grand, best money spent for a motor mod. Have tried numerous other turbos and I am sold on aero chargers and the vipec ecu. Just love this setup. HM intercooler setup is also super clean, was able to shove in a CMX belt drive without to much hassle.

My kit will be installed in my 13 Pro with Terra Alps in the next month or so, I have a buddy with a 860 for his XP and it's awesome.
Also putting the SLP Pipe, can and PCV with it.

Have one more ride to do this saturday then in the shop it goes.

I would like to hear the results! I have only seen a couple of vids on youtube with 2010 rmk and the terra alps bb, seemed that it was responsive.

What other kits have you tried? And on what sleds? Does these hm kits pull hard on the polaris? I have a boondocker race gas kit on my sled now and i am running only 100LL, its good but would like to get more respons on the bottom and mid range.

Hm 8 psi pump gas is my favorite. Perfect response, partially Vipec, rest aero variable vein design. Tried bd, push, silber, not even in the same league. They all can run high hp but psi boost apples to apples, love hm. Tial housing is a huge improvement but the aero is simply sweet.

You run 8 psi and get away from 100 or higher octane, your bottom will be so crisp you think you are on a stock sled, until you pin it and you have 80 managable hp at your fingertips. Everyone that rides my setup is sold. I still have a bd and push in the trailer for those who want to try them all.

The push with my Vipec numbers, " Not Dakota Performance's" , is 10 times the turbo setup they are putting out. They always forget to tell people how many times they burned he poor sled down last winter. That being said don't waste ur cash, by an hm and smile.
