Best polaris dealer in MN???

Be careful with these guys, they do have the inventory and good prices, but that is where it ends!! They are your typical high volume dealer that washes their hands once the machine leaves their parking lot! Parts department is way messed up. Service department appears very knowledgeable, but I haven't had any service performed so I can't verify if they actually know what they are talking about!

Sounds like River Valley....not the most knowledgable parts area. Not sure on service, but I was told last year by a guy that they don't have the ability to pop a bearing off a drive shaft:face-icon-small-con Said they send all the crank work out...:face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-con

Moon Motorsports in Monticello.

I just bought my 2nd sled from them. Back in '08 an FST Switchback and a couple of weeks ago a Switchback Assault. Had the best price I found $10339 + Tax and Lic. I had some warranty work on FST and they were great. Hopefully not needed on Assault.

They only got 2 SB Assaults and I got one. I know that they have been doing some dealer trades to fill other orders. I was in Bristow's yesterday and they have a silver SB Assault on the floor.

Good Luck

River Valley had an absolutely terrible service department, mostly due to the service manager at the time. She was in way over her head and had no idea whatsoever. They now have a new service manager who knows his stuff, but unfortunately he is a Yamaha guy and has very limited knowledge of Polaris! The sales guys are pretty good in my opinion for the type of dealership they are.

Guess I will find out. Gonna be making a run for some pretty basic parts next week...see how it goes.

I live within spitting distance of Moon, and I refuse to go there. Never have any parts in stock... I mean simple common parts. In fact, went there for oil, low and behold, they do not have it.... I travel to Bristow's for all of my Polaris needs.

Bought a 2010 600 RMK 144 at Moose Lake Sports in Feb of last yr. Called several dealers here in Northern MN and they had by far the best price. Didn't even have a sled on hand but went and found it for me and had it in 2 days later. Which was good because I left 2 days later for WY with it. Luckily haven't had to deal with service at all or parts.

I stand slightly corrected.

Needed to get some small parts for the 99 Poo. Oil filter, oil tank grommet, exhaust gasket for y-pipe and fuel filter.

River Valley only had one item in stock and didn't even offer right away to order them.

Called Willeys Marine and they have all of them set aside until I get up there this weekend....but I still wouldn't go there for any type of service. IN fact I think they have always had the parts I needed.

Certainly can't speak for everyone but I live 9 miles from Mies outland, drive by it almost every day and the only time I stop is to drool over the inventory. Their service department is TOP notch in my opinion. Mark, the service manager, is great to work with, and Freddie, head mechanic has great knowledge and will drop what he's doing just to answer a few ?'s involving repair. As far as sales and prices I am not impressed at all. IMO they are way overpriced on the used, holdover machines and are unwilling to bend on price. I believe the salesman are handcuffed with the perameters set by the owners so it becomes a take it or leave it scenario. My family has ridden POL all our lives and my dad bought a M8 last yr because he could buy a brand new one cheaper than Mies would sell him a D8 holdover. He wanted them to drop the price 300 bucks to match the cat price and they sent him packing. 2 weeks later he returned to find they had dropped there price on the D8 the $300 which weeks earlier they refused to budge on. Piss poor you ask me.

I just picked up a 2010 D8 155 from Mies at the beginning of january and they were very pleasant and easy to deal with they dropped their price 400 for me along with discounts on anything else i bought that day. I would recommend them again but maybe i just met the right sales guy.
