Best Backpack?

BCA Stash H20 pack here. I carry my shovel, probe, extra gloves, shirt, flashlight, leatherman, spare plugs, belaclava, 2nd pair of goggles, lunch/snacks and the water bladder full holds 3 liters i believe. Love the pack.

Is that right on the sizes?

Dakine II is 1200 -shovel inside
Heli pack 660 - but shovel is on the outside
Ogio 2200

????????

My current preference is the Cirque Lumbar pack from Voile. 1120 cu in capacity. Shovel on the outside, probe on the inside in a dedicated, easy to reach pocket. Has a wide waist strap and a narrow strap for over the shoulder. Sits way low on your back. With all of my gear on my Heli-Pro just felt too restrictive with the chest and shoulder straps. I put all of the non-essential stuff I carry in my tunnel bag and keep my pack as light as possible.

You guys are all Crazy for spending that kind of $$$$ on those bags.

True North Adventure gear has probably the best backpack I have ever had and at an outstanding price. Has more then enough room and has never froze up nor I have had any issues with it. Now on its third season and still not a single issue.

Yes the Ogio(36L I belive) is huge I fit all my survival stuff, drinks, video camera, probe, tools, (shovel on the outside). with room to spare and it doesn't feel any biger than my little 16L pack I used to use.
