If your life depends on it.. Buy a Colt.. Bushmaster is junk. Most people think the more crap they strap on the better the gun..

Run a colt stay with colt firing systems, lower, and uppers. Put an Acog on it, and make sure you buy "real mags" they ones suppliers sell that say MIL spec. Is Sh!t. Buy the right stuff.

Every Bushmaster, and high zoot co. I've seen fail at the wrong time.. Why do you think Rangers, SFOD, and such stick with them?

Bushmaster can't even get there logo right. do the research and you will be glad you did.

Check out Specialized Armaments web site. It will help. Good Luck:beer;

Hmm... then tell me why is it that LMT has some pretty big military contracts as well?

:rolleyes:

and what, you never believed me!? ;)

There are a couple companies coming online for lower production that are going to be worth keeping your eye on. I will be getting at least one...

nah I believe ya bud :) but GODEEP did produce actual facts ;)

im just not a big AR guy, I think most people buy one then the fun is over, but I do think everyone should have at leaste 1. Thats just me though :o

When you gonna stop buying guns Chad and buy a ring for that pretty lady of yours? :p;)

Ok, I've pretty much decided on the : MT6731 Match Target Competition HBAR II

MTCompHBARII_BIG.jpg

Only problem is that every dealer I see online (for shipping to local FFL) is out of stock, backordered, etc..

Does anyone have a good source for OEM/New COLT MT6731 rifles that are available to ship?
Seeking two complete units.

Thanks all!

MD.

first gun here was a bushy AR, i loved to plink with it, just a tad pricey, fun to take some whacks at the gophers with it!!

i really like the colapsable stock for letting others shoot it, like the lady friends. A3 tops, that way you can remove the cary handle and rock a nice scope like i can on mine, the 3-9 on that thing makes it so as fast as you can pull the trigger you can hit things inside 100 yards, then after that you have to sorta aim a little.

.

Good luck trying to buy one after this last week. Sales are going crazy and everything to do with AR's is backordered and out of stock.

Hmmmm, that tells me something, how about you Comrade?:rolleyes:

think about it. We are all just arming Hussein's Civilian army here. He lets us go nuts buying all these assault rifles and then he outlaws them and takes them all away lmao ..... :( :mad:

Avoid anything with the name Hesse, Blackthorne, or Vulcan on it They have the worst reputation in the industry and for good reason.

That said, I'm very happy with my build, Double Star lower, and a mid length upper kit from www.del-ton.com. I'm around $800 total for the rifle, scope, and a some magazines.

Here it is the day I put it together

And in current form

I have a DPMS also...collapsible stock and short barrel like the one pictured above. I love it...it hasn't jammed on me once and is very accurate. I have it all tweaked out of course...tactical scope, tactical light, etc. I like it better than my issued Bushmaster for work.

Colt=Coolaide

If life depended on it wouln't be looking at $1300 budget and would be looking at Larue, Bravo co, or other high end manufactureres that start above $2k

It's pretty much just another toy. Did some price shopping today. I can get a few different models in my price range. When life depends on it or I'm in a home defence situation i have my trusty shotgun loaded up with 00.

This is the DPMS that I bought a while back. Its actually chambered for the .308, but the .223 looks the same. I've been super pleased with it.
